Same - I have a 2mm Nozzle test print on at the moment at 0.04mm layer height - 14 Hours for that small bitI think I prefer the split into panels option. I would be interested to see the other printed with the 0.2mm nozzle, though.
Those are from the "Elf" Tyrell Ford F-1 (003) 1971 Tamiya | No. 12009 :1:12 ModelI have been watching this for a while, its incredible what your doing with a 3d printer. I noticed parts that I think match that I have been looking for. for a cylon mine for BSG can you id these parts please.
I have a .2 mm nozzle waiting in the wings, but haven't tried it yet. Can't wait to see how those come out. Long prints don't bother me - I'm in the midst of a 24-hour-plus print as I type this.Same - I have a 2mm Nozzle test print on at the moment at 0.04mm layer height - 14 Hours for that small bit![]()

Now I definitely need to break out my 0.2mm nozzle.OK FYI - here is the difference - the grey one is 4mm Nozzle 0.08mm Layer Height
white one is 2mm Nozzle 0.4mm Layer Height - lines are still noticeable tho I had to get the light just right - and use my Magnifying glass
I'm going to try a bigger one soon - just finishing it off that is going to be a 26 hour print - just fixing up a few bits that didn't quite work

Not a joke, just find it funny people shelling out big dollars for a printer to print something I had designedDid I miss the joke ? lol
Cool, I was never that great at traditional SculptingBig bucks ? Nah you can get a decent printer for cheap these days. Am I mistaken but are you making this open source ? I certainly respect all your hard work and design in this project. The reason why Iam following the thread. Im not a 3d modeler but more of a traditional sculptor.
Roger that !! Again great work !!Cool, I was never that great at traditional Sculpting
Yes all Open Source and free, unless I see someone selling the models on Etsy and the like -
If that happens then it will be by request. Hopefully that doesn't need to happen.
Just finished off the next Panel last night, so have the port side rear sidewalls done

Excellent strategy DazzaIMPORTANT NOTE
To stop people just ripping off these files - and to make it easier for me to notify users of changes, updates etc, I am stopping all general public access sharing soon.
They are still free for anyone who wants to print them, you will just need to PM me your email address for access, and I will add you to my Falcon Mailing list, as well as send you an invite to the files.
So to pre-empt the switch over, feel free to flick me requests for access now.
Cheers Darrin
