Hi all, some progress on the printing part - first 2 side walls off the printer - Sidewalls all fully Modelled now
These I am printing at 2mm Nozzle, 0.04mm Layer height, so they do take a while
The smaller one was 14 Hours, the bigger one 35 Hours
There are some glue on parts for the Bigger wall, just haven't printed those yet.

Also finalized and reprinted my frame (with the usual 4mm nozzle) - some sizing tweaks to fit the sidewalls, and added support for magnets to hold the decks in place.

I have been working on some of the decks - but given the sidewalls are taking ages, estimate 2 weeks - I have managed to borrow a friends printer to do these larger key parts at the same time.

So full steam ahead

So how will the decks be attached? Bolted/screwed to the inner circular support with the outside edges being held down by magnets?

one of my favorite prints so far - it is missing the extra bits that are glued on, as well as the pipework, (To Avoid Supports) - but came out super nice.

The extra parts are in orange

Just printing these off while I tweak the last two port side panels - so still full on printing - the above one was 26 hours

Wow you can actually clearly see the hex nuts on that print!! I am just staring at these photos of the sidewalls and finding it very mesmerizing lol.

Yes, that's the fun part. The print above is zero supports.
A lot of the glue on extra parts still require them, but it's a lot easier cleaning up single parts.
