With a half cylinder set on top it may be really close to Han‘s version.

Hope you don’t mind me using your pic. I’ll take it down if it’s a prob.i don’t think it’s a match. Look at the distance from the top to the hole. It also appears much larger than the one used. It’s darn close though. We are close!

No problem using the pic. I know, it‘s not exactly the used part. They may have been several versions of the CO2 cartridge holder. In between I identified 6 different types of holders And this one is the closest I found.

If someone of us is lucky to find the exact matching one it will be no problem to throw this one away and replace it ;-).

I took again some time to study the pics. If you have a close look you can see that all three of the canisters Leia, Han, Chewie) have the milled notches (see added pics). And after comparing all available angles in the pics I have, I‘m now pretty sure, they also used the the same cartridge holders. These sparklers were very common at this time, so it would have been no problem buying three of them for building the props.

I‘ve finished the hose connector/CO2 cartridge holder part. I bend an aluminium sheet to cover the open parts of the cartridge holder mounted it to the siphon head and filled the whole thing with putty.

I drilled a hole into it to place the hose connector.

Ok gang. I found the correct side piece. I do not have it but I located a picture. Take a look. It is made by BOC and came with one of the models. I am told this bulb holder is rare. Of course.
