Well do we know if the scanner fit upright with the door closed? The screen cap shows it with the door open earlier in the thread. Maybe it never did fit upright. I don't really care either way personally.

And speaking of tracking the weather, I asked an AI what a hectopascal was, and it answered "100 Pascals." Which is funny, because Grok 3 can only seem to manage 5 Pascals...

My tricorder shows my barometric pressure at 986.42 hPa which is about 29.1 inHg. My outdoor weather station shows my pressure at 29.89 inHg. Not too far off considering the tricorder is inside and the weather station is outside.

The Tricorder could only hold the scanner the way I previously showed it (vertically vs horizontally) due to the middle divider in the lower compartment.

I suppose one could place the scanner in the lower compartment, inaccurately (horizontally).

I would rather follow the proud RPF tradition of demonstrating a lack of gratitude and just complain about it.

Stupid Wand Company, they didn't even try to use Time Lord technology, to make the scanner fit correctly.

Yeah, but what about the Tootsie Pop?

Unfortunately the Tootsie pop is just about a half inch too long. You have to either cut down the stem or fold it over (and I don't even know if that's possible). I have an insert shot of it in my little tricorder film, which I'll probably finish next weekend.

Assuming I can finish fixing the color and mixing the sound. I didn't realize the damn iPhone would correct white balance on the fly unless you lock it by finding the magic setting (after smoking a cigar, burning sage, and sacrificing a chicken to Changó), so now I have to keyframe color correction. Uh, yay...
