Assuming Amazon UK relaxes and resumes shipping to the US, that's definitely in the cards. They certainly have enough product.

I asked Andrew Stockdale about the firmware, but he doesn't work in that aspect of it. All he could answer was that he imagines it doesn't have a lot of spare room, and once the shipping mishegoss is done with, Wand will have the bandwidth to talk about possible future upgrades.

Hopefully they'll be able to enter a bunch of stock within the 90-day window at least. Part of the issue is obtaining enough bonded warehouse space here, since there was a run on it when the tariffs were announced. Anybody with scheduled shipments or shipments in transit by sea scarfed up all the available space. A solution is in the works but it'll take a little more time.
Yes, the 90-day window starts this Wednesday 5/14.
It may take till they receive the item back in the UK before they'll issue the refund. With any luck during the 90-day window they'll be able to get some stock into the US so they can sell through US Amazon. There isn't any way to buy direct from TWC as they don't have the resources to stand up their own web store, because of the complexity of US sales taxes.

I hope TWC has been doing whatever they need to do to upload the tricorder stock over the last 10 days.
I'm not going to live by my computer trying to constantly refresh until it shows in stock. I'm done with that.

The tricorder gives barometric pressure in hectopascals (hPa), so I found a working converter that will give yo the reading in other units.

I feel the same way. The ONLY reason I want to buy one is to complete the TWC Landing Party Set and as I already have the MR Landing Party Set it is no big deal if I can't get one, even though I know they are going to make a lot of them and eventually I will be able to buy one at a reasonable price.
How long ago did you buy and how long did it take before they gave you the shipping info? I'm asking because I ordered mine on saturday.

I ordered mine on the 8th, and I got my tracking number yesterday (the 11th). It hasn't actually been shipped yet according to tracking. But somebody a page or two back said they waited a week for their tracking number. I wouldn't sweat it, from what I can see they do deliver them in a reasonable time. I haven't seen any complaints about that either here or on Fleet Workshop.
They're probably a little backed up assembling them--I gather the advent of the tricorder and their announcing them for sale back on 4/23 have been good timing for them and they're selling a lot of them.
I'm not worried as much as I was curious. Also, since I don't have the Wand Tricorder to put it in, even though I do have the MR and am curious to see if it fits, it doesn't really matter when I get it except to have fun scanning everything around me.

I get it. I've been waiting for a proper tricorder and scanner since I can remember, and this whole thing has been beyond my wildest Trekkie fever dreams. I missed out on the MR, and now I'm glad I did.
The two on eBay right now haven't budged, and I don't think they will absent a very steep price drop. Resell value isn't something I really think about with props, but I sure am glad I'm not stuck with an MR now that the Wand is out.
I'm going to be listing my Diamond Select soon, but I don't expect much for that either.
I actually like the MR and have no plans to sell any of my MR replicas. I have actually only taken the MR out of the display case 2 or 3 times since I got it however many years ago when it was released and most likely that will happen with the Wand too.

Expressed interest 7-21-20. Ordered from Amazon UK 4-23-25. Enroute to US (St. Louis, MO) until arrival 5-12-25. Delivered by USPS in perfect condition (except for exterior carton) with Maersk being the original international carrier. No tariff! Charging now. Worth the wait!
