Halliwax, there’s a guy on fb who sells clamps. He had one roughed up vintage with no lever or bars for $45 and then he has perfect shape ones for $160.

Check the female threading of the windvane for any loose shards. I'm guessing there is something lodged in there that needs to be cleaned out. A brush or some air will dislodge the loose shard of aluminum.

is anybody else having trouble with the threading on the neck part? I'm having trouble getting the steel section to screw in to the aluminum of the neck... I don't wanna force it and strip anything. Unless this is normal and you just have to force it through the first time because there's a little crap/metal left over from the machining process or whatever? This is the first run I've ever been a part of, so sorry if this is a noob question. Any help is much appreciated!

So, anyone else terrified to start denting their emitter ring for fear of warping the connection edge under the lip? Not sure what the best way to go about that will be, especially to get that fake bevel around the top face.

But I was wondering if anyone has a list of tools needed to assemble these, since I am bringing them to my friends house I’ll have to bring my tools as well

Any remember the exact Allen wrenches needed?

You MIGHT need a jewlers flat blade screw driver as well. IF you got the slotted screw instead of the hex screw for the emitter. I got the slotted screw.

The emmiter on mine is pretty woobly too. I think I'll Dremel off a thread length or 2 from the bottom of the threaded area. That should eliminate the need for any extra shims.
My pommel is a bit loose too. I might try a wrap of Teflon tape to tighten it up. Other than those 2 niggles WOW , Awesome saber.
