Hello there!
Wishing you all a wonderful May The Fourth! I hope you all have a great day and manage to fit in at least one SW movie!
I just wanted to drop in with a brief update on the run.
I am very nearly done painting. Just adding the finishing touches before de-stencilling and final assembly!
I’m hoping to have Batch 5 completed this week still, all being well.
I have begun work on assembling the clamps for this batch and they’re looking great:
I’ll post another update once I have Batch 5 finished and ready to send out.
Parts for the additional batch of V2s are now officially “In Production” and I’ll be listing these on the store for pre-order later today
(12:00 - Midday – UK time)
I previously referred to UK time as GMT.
THIS WAS INCORRECT. Sorry for any confusion. The UK is now on BST (British summer time). So GMT+1hr.
I have tried my best to keep the price as close to the original price as possible, but with the passage of time / inflation as well as the updated specs on the machining, there has been a slight increase to the pre-order price unfortunately.
(£265)
I hope that’s ok. On the upside, this should significantly lower waiting times for commissions going forward.
As before, the pre-order price covers all parts that are included in the DIY kit:
- V2 Body Section (drilled and tapped)
- V2 Emitter/Nipple (pre-damaged)
- V2 Pommel
- V2 Stainless Steel D-Ring
- Replica Michel thumbscrew / Cone knob
- Vintage Boot Stud
- Replica Graflex Clamp
- V2 Lever
- SlothFurnace V2 Clamp Card (Vintage Finish)
- Internal rod/bearings/fixings
- Vinyl Stencil kit
I am keeping my commission price (£200) the same as before and don’t intend on increasing this for the foreseeable future.
As always, this is payable upon completion of the work and a separate invoice will be sent out closer to the time to cover painting/weathering and shipping.
I'll be listing a limited number of DIY kits for Pre-Order too. These will be sent out as soon as I receive the parts.
Just a very brief update this week if that’s ok...
I will be back with another one soon (on completion of Batch 5).
I’m looking forward to sharing more images of finished commissions which is always exciting!
For now though, wishing you all a fantastic May The Fourth!
All the best and
MTFBWY!
Dave
