An RPF Open Source 5 ft Millennium Falcon Build/Reference Thread. All Are Welcome

Sorry guys! I didn't have a good sense of the relative scale before I hammered on my keyboard. Back to watching...

Can someone please confirm that the area highlighted in red is the only reason to use the Harrier Cockpit Tub?

I don't need to keep this in one piece for some other area?

thanks

Another clarity/confirmation question please.

A. is listed as the 1:15 Hummel (61) however I can not find a part in that kit that matches. I'm sure I've seen it someplace, but I can not remember which kit in the dozens I have. As another hint, in a photo eagle1 posted earlier in this thread, his part here is a dark plastic which, as far as I know, is not found in the Hummel.

B. is listed as being part of the Buffalo & Jeep (120-1), and again, there are no parts in that kit that match the references.

Does anyone have any updated information on these two parts?

thanks

Thanks. I completely missed that Hummel part. Sometimes I can stare at a kit for an hour and not see what's right in front of my face.

The other thing that was throwing me off is that both you and Stu have that part in dark grey, mine is a light tan. I guess I have a different production run of kit.

Still not sure about the Buffalo part because if you look on the reference image, there's a 'bolt' under it.

Stu seems to have it correct, but I'm not sure what kit that is from.

Anyway, just my opinion. It could very well be another Buffalo part, and I'm just not seeing the connection

Ahh, okay, my list is out of date then. I don't have a 120-1 on my spreadsheet (that's why I thought it was 20-1). I only have 120-2 to 120-4. I'll add the fujimi kit in there.

So I may have a lead on the correct "182" for this pit.

The part map calls for a 1:35 scale Tamiya King Tiger. But it's not, the Tamiya part is way too large and has the wrong details (as we sort of know already), but I ~think~ I have found the correct kit. It's a bit obscure but I have one being shipped to me, the problem is the Canada Post strike and me not knowing when it will ever show up.

When I get it and can properly compare, I'll post more information.

Unless of course everyone already knows what the correct kit is and I'm just being redundant.

We know. It’s just a secret we’re not allowed to talk about. ;)

You're using SmoothOn? I find that stuff is often too soft. Even going by the 1:1 ratio they require. It always ends up more like wet pasta than hard plastic.
