Or this guy on the bottom port mandible?

Yea I managed to finally get it. I don't think Google likes me. The feeling is mutual, ; ) Oh I come around to these threads pretty often. I'm a map and Info junkie. I may never finish a studio model, but I'll have all the info anyway, lol. Don't think my family will be able to decipher all this stuff when I'm gone. It will all be Greek to them, ; )
You certainly have my appreciation while I too am on the right side of the earth. Many hours & days of help.

We're having a bit of a discussion over on Kitbash about this: This is from the ESB pits which we know recycled bits of the ANH pits. Think this was original? If so, I need to change the car part.

Updated the engine deck maps again to label the Centurion part attached to the 7.5mm tank gun part and removed the highlighting of the t-track next to the Sealab parts.

Also updated the port mandible bottom to reflect the newly discovered Sealab piece and the ventral rear close map

Hi there.

Would it be possible to get a clarification of this part;

The little gear is tagged as part N45 from the Hummel (61). But when I compare that part to the photos, it doesn't seem to match. And, as near as I can tell, it doesn't have the correct diameter. It also seems to be missing the taper.

Can we confirm that N45 is the correct part?

thanks

That isn't the right part. I haven't found the right one yet.

I've gone through the motorized amour and ship kits that I have access to used for this build. All the pinion gears are ~7mm, we are looking for 11mm. (determined by scaling up the Bandai PG kit gear)

If it is a real gear (it sort of looks it), it could be just a found part from anything they had laying around, and not from a kit at all.

For kicks, I popped open a couple of RC servos to have a look. Nothing useful.

[edit] This morning I rummaged through the racing car kits, the kettlegrad, the BMW motorcycle, the Tamiya racing bike, the big M60, and a few additional smaller kits. No joy.
