I used Rub'n'buff. Antique gold for the most of it with ebony brushed in to the nooks and crannies. I had to give it some clear coat in the end to stop it from rubbing off though.
The handles was just some wood stain I found here painted over them after I used some black wash to get the grain to show up.

Just a quik cell-phone shot of my built..
Did spent the kit some real wood grips (I know that the screw is not correct, but wasn't able to find a close one so far.). AS well as a single pass of XTC (from Smooth-on)
and covered the result, with a simple black (matt) primer just so see where I have to sand it now.
More to come.. hope to get this finished soon

Rob...XTC works realy well for me.Easy to use and handle. Don't mix too much you do not need to much of it for you kit. Mix some colors into it! That makes it

What I did is basically mentioned in the pic
It is finished by 98%! Just missing 3 srews... but didn't find some close ones so far.
As soon as I found them and finished it, the final round of pics will follow
So far, i am pretty happy with the result!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm heading out on vacation for 2 weeks. I'll have limited access to wifi, and should be able to check in every day or two. If anyone wants to order anything, I can still take orders and answer PMs and then ship items out end of the month.
