After having some time between other projects, I made the time to put my pistol together. After debating anodizing, chemical blackening, etc. I went the paint route. I'm pleased at how everything turned out, and now I can finally move on to building the holster, even though the pistol still needs decals.
Old mostly 3D-print on the top, new Airsoft-based pistol below. They look a lot more different in person, and on the Airsoft the trigger, slide, mag, grip safety, laser/light, etc. all function, unlike with the 3D print... Unfortunately both of these are forbidden at most of my local Cons, so who knows if I'll ever get to show off either IRL. :\
