Speaking of Rebel ships, whoever the hell at Lucasfilm decided that the Mon Calamari cruisers were made out of buildings should be smacked upside the head. How do you go from the EU where they were originally repurposed cruise liners, then later purpose built warships, to "hey they're really uprooted buildings they put in space!"? It came out during Rebels, so I'm guessing Dave Filoni, IDK.
I have no recollection of that. It would be incredibly dumb and make no sense. Outside of the usual Star Wars realm of fantasy, I can't even fathom how that would make sense at all. When and where was that mentioned?

A lot of the starship lore is whack is the new continuity. The Rebels running around with a bunch of A-wings before Yavin. Admiral Ackbar not being a part of the design process with the B-wing.

I always assumed the medical ships were also warships. The same same way medics in the military are trained to use and carry weapons. It's not dumb its practical.

Just wanted to show off my birthday gift I got earlier this month… two Lego Star Wars Boarding sets. But instead of doing two straight builds and doing a staggered joining of sets as seen in the last page of the instructions, I instead did a reverse build of the second set to just continue the natural flow. No major redesign but I am happy with the results and want to thank my family for the great gift.

I decided that my set would look just a bit better if I could add another small section.

Instead of buying another set full price or trying to figure out what I would need in pick a brick, I found a really cheap set minus figures on eBay. It provided everything I needed except for an extra technic 1x12 gray piece which I also found cheap on eBay.

I first tried to build the set without the door wall but it seemed too long with the door opening on the wall and the two outward passageway supports doubled up to the other sets so I rebuilt it to exclude those aspects. Very happy with the results.

Very nice.

Here’s my sequel trilogy head canon. The Force Awakens happened up to the point that Rey was captured and brought on to Kylo’s ship.

Everything past that point, and including the last two movies are delusions in her mind resulting from the torture.

She’s still in that chair waiting to be rescued.

I must be nuts because I know I heard it, but Wookiepedia (not a shining example of fandom, but...) still says they were made from old cruise liners.

Edit: I found where it was mentioned: Mon Calamari Exodus Fleet
The person who had the info in their video got it mixed up, but it was ships that the Empire thought where just buildings, but hidden ships. Makes a LOT more sense.

I still think:

The "Luke" they found on Ach-To (gesundheit!) was his evil clone from the Timothy Zahn novels, and the real Luke has yet to be found!

My head canon. (Actually I have Google doc of what's in my head canon. Anyways....) In my head canon KOTORs dark side ending leads to TCW, and the new continuity with the Sequels. While the light side ending results in the EU version of events.

I don't know anything about KOTOR or TCW (Filoniverse) but I dig the idea that there are parallel timelines one in which the darkside ending causes one timeline and a lightside ending causes another. That's actually pretty cool, and gives space for all the stories to happen, you just choose which side grabs you the most and follow it. I dig the logic behind it. ;)

Honestly, since 1983, KOTOR has the best characters, storyline, universe etc. And nothing else remotely comes close. Since it's that good, that probably explains why it's not been officially recognized as " Canon" although that is an argument for another time. Yet I agree with Nakedmolerat on the premise that nothing after 1983 matters in the Star Wars universe, in my head Canon, I easily welcome KOTOR and Kyle Katarn, along with Jedi OUTCAST and ACADEMY. Yes, it's video games but they were that good and in my opinion, do not dismantle previous legacy characters. I love the lightside/ darkside effect on choices made throughout KOTOR. It really made you invest in the protagonist and was universal to anyone playing it. We are all better off if it stays left alone...lol.

A few years back, I used a Jedi character I had created for my friends' RPG campaign to a story using the idea of dual timelines: because of an imbalance created in the timelines due to a "fracture in the Force", he kept switching between two timelines (EU and the Movies) and the two timelines were in danger of collapsing altogether unless he could somehow stop the growing rift.

It was called Star Wars: Dual Forces; I'll have to check my old hard drives to see if I still have the artwork for it.
