Kurtz Dossier from Apocalypse Now (open source for all!)

I was looking back at Adams original thread from 2011. He mentioned the Map said Dong Sre Viet which is (6432 IV).
or is (6331-1) as mentioned in this thread? There's big River on Map 6432.

Now, anyone know the size of the actual map?

I think you can print it off at Fed-EX online

Anyone know if there is anything on the back?

I have looked at a gadgillion of these on Ebay, but have not found the actual one.

They're 29"x 22.5". I just saw the one 6331-1 on Ebay for $144. There's nothing on the back.

Excellent. Thanks for the info. (y)

Can you post a link? I have every possible version in my saved searches looking for this thing, but I have yet to see the correct one.

Same Map number though, right? Are you looking for a different print date? I noticed in the screen shot there's a name on the River.
Could that have been added by the production team?
Curious why they choose that map instead of one on the Cambodian Boarder? There was a special forces base there I learned from the Ebay ad.

Yeah, that is weird. I always went right to the center title with the name. This one is different then the screen used title, yet it seems to be the same map.

Ebay title:
Edition 1-AMS
Phat Hanh Lan Thu 1-AMS

As far as the river name, I agree. I think they added the name. I think they added some blue color to the river as well for effect.

They probably never thought a bunch of prop geeks would be analyzing frame by frame the dossier 45 years later. :p

More of A.N. Geek for me although I almost did the Han Solo Blaster. I think there's a quote about "Proceed to the mouth of the Lung River" I think that's what it says on the Map? I have the screen play I'll check. I can Easily add that in Photoshop to the Map before printing.

It's Nung River. Then pick up the Colonels path at Nu Mung Ba.
That's probably a fictious river but Nu Mung Ba might be a real place.
Curious if it's one those UT maps.

Can you add the blue to the river?

Although the idea may be Willard added it or they added it by pen to show where he is going.

Maybe we just add it ourselves.

They don't use the word River on any of those maps so it's defiantly added. The blue would be in the Dixon marker.
