Hmmm....take a 1000x600 pixel image at 1000dpi, make it a PNG and you get 1.1MB image whereas JPEG at highest quality is 436kb....the same as a TIF is 1.9MB. I examined the final quality and they are nearly identical....I think the main thing will be the starting quality of the image....and as long as I keep the JPEG quality at or near maximum (least amount of compression)...we should be fine....plus most anything opens a JPEG...with PNG you have a choice of interlaced or not...what's that about? TV image?
I never thought my request for the original Vader reference disc would lead to the formation of an entirely new project........kinda cool actually. B)
