Seeing Falcon in everything… you got the bug too. Haha! That explains Adolfo‘s reaction at least

Looks spot on! Congrats!Okay… here it is. Looks like everything works out. You need to cut the Stug ring down to right around 1.78” in diameter to match the Saturn ring OD. So far in fact, there’s not much left of the Stug ring. So be careful. I had more left on the casting, than the actual part. It gets VERY think there!
Then you have the cut the Saturn ring height down to your preference. I went with about 0.30” tall in these photos. I spread the Stug hinges out a little bit to better hold the wire. I used plastruct butyrate coated wire. I can’t find the invoice, but it is the smallest size they have which comes in black or gray.
I have to tell you I was concerned when I opened the Saturn box and started looking at the part. I didn’t think the side angle was sloped enough. But once it’s together it looks alright.

And when looking at Stug ring from behind you can tell they used 8 ISE Hyuga guns on the outside edge as the supports to glued to the dish, but you can also see that there is enough room for some extra center ISE guns towards the cemetery of ring. So I would assume those imside supports we saw in the photos are also from ISE/Hyuga. Just my two cents.

Yep, got it: but WHERE on the Falcon does the miter gauge on the sander go?Hey Manu. Thanks! I wish…. That’s the miter gauge on the sander unfortunately.
Looks great John!Got my laser cutter up and running today. This was a first attempt at engraving acrylic. Tomorrow we try styrene.

Definitely let us know how it works on styrene. I heard it's a bear to cut. But it will save so much time to be able to use the laser. Of course that will cost me a couple of grand to buy one. I need another reason to go broke, lol.Got my laser cutter up and running today. This was a first attempt at engraving acrylic. Tomorrow we try styrene.
