We must be two of a kind, as I too am working on a Johnny Ringo Custom figure To be honest with you, I kind of put it on the back self as I have been going full throttle on getting all of Val’s/Doc’s wardrobe custom made, but after seeing your figure makes me rethink my decision
I have enclosed some photos of what I am shooting for on my Ringo figure
Thank You for the kind words on my collection, as it makes me feel good about it when other people appreciate it View attachment 1709416View attachment 1709417View attachment 1709418View attachment 1709419View attachment 1709420View attachment 1709421
Well it’s quite impressive my friendThat's way ahead of mine on detail ... My JR rig is paper and hat made from old egg box
I'm lucky in that a good bud of mine was a cast member. He's still a friend of Val but naturally I don't want to give his name to retain privacy ! All things western that's me...A little prayer for Val wouldn't go unmissed .Well it’s quite impressive my friend
I actually have plans on making the real Johnny Ringo Shirt since no one has ever made it right, but first I must complete my Doc collection as I get sidetracked pretty easily these days….. LOL

I’m glad you liked everything greenmachinesWow, that was a great burst of awesomeness for me to scroll through this fine morning. Now I am wishing I had my gear started just to get in the convo. I am too easily influenced by someone elses progess.... and I really find that to be my super power.
You need tombstone guns and gear book !Oh, completely understand that brother, and I would never ask for such a thing. I have talked to few that were part of the production and I feel like I have a pretty good hand on it. I just wish I had some more detailed photos of the wardrobe that was used, besides the photos I have of Val’s auction (those were fantastic to have, but unfortunately it wasn’t everything he wore). Yes, I wish Val all the best as this is a horrible thing he is going through.
Super Cool And I am all in for a Western Discussion GroupIt's fantastic people are still in to western ... Maybe we could start a western discussion group on here ... Here's my Wells Fargo coachgun , not an original but shoots good !
Already have it….. LOLThis one
Love it I think I Heard Island Girls is no longer around, but I have everything to make the correct shirt, I’m just looking for the correct fabricTry island girl . I think they did the original shirt ... More toy figures . Ok corral fight my version . Not like the movie just cobbled together but with tombstone guns & rigs...
My current is Will Turner from Pirates (POTC5 specifically). The build is done but I am struggling a bit on my diet so pics are very much getting delayed. I will need to pick a western character though as now, watching this thread, it just seems a bit daft on my part to have access to so much of the west within hours of my home but not have an outfit to go with it. It will be nice to shift gears and start a new build. As lame as I am for memory, I have access to wagons and never really thought about using them. It is really hitting me as funny now, my gpa was the trail security boss for the Centennial Wagon Train Re-enactment in 1959. My mom, my aunt and uncle were all children, dressed in period costume riding from Independence Missouri to Independence Oregon by actual wagons. Somehow it never struck me to do a build with a Western character.I’m glad you liked everything greenmachines
What project are you working on?
