Trying to decide whether I should cut my beard into a goatee. TO really get that Tony Stark look however I cannot decide.

Thanks man! Plasti dip is a fall back.. it works but I am looking into other avenues.

And in case anyone needs foam in the future...

I promise to have more updates.. kinda in a waiting position right now as I have some things coming in the mail to finish things up.

P.S. I'll be having the palms and fingers 3d printed for my suit!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately guys. Just been busy trying things and buying things for the suit.

I have ordered the Iron Man Palms and Fingers from Shapeways.. they are being 3d printed.

I have also started painting up one of the arms and will post pics of that tonight/tomorrow and by the weekend at the latest.

So far so good.

I've been coating all pieces in..

2 part epoxy
then a layer of plasti-dip spray
then Krylon Fushion paint.

If I don't hit all the crevasses with the Krylon the black from plasti-dip shows through and gives it that dirty black wash look that I love. Just need to get some rub and buff to damage it up a bit.

I am also have a custom zentai suit made that include full body coverage, hands, feet and an open face.. it will be primarily a dark red but have silver knee areas and gold elbow areas for the mark VI areas that show from my armor.

nice.. where are you getting the zentai suit? im ordering mine from ebay but never thought of getting certain parts colored gold.. also what are you using to gloss your suit?

Nice, I am considering getting the fingers and palms 3d printed too now. Can you share the info or should I call them myself?(info as in what file, if you can share the file etc.)

Small update. Just a basic paint up.. I haven't done much of the black wash and NONE of the silver rub and buff battle damage.. that is to come.. But wanted to give you guys something since I've been so sparse on updates. Sorry also for such ****ty pics.

Going for more of a satin look on the armor instead of high gloss.. better for the damaged look and it hides my boo boos, lol.

It looks like you're getting a nice even red (final) coat.

I think you need to get that bad boy out into the sun tomorrow (if it's going to be sunny) and give us some good 'direct sunlight' pictures. I think the shiny red will really pop in sunlight!
