One of TWC‘s blog updates showed an X-Ray view of the Tricorder and a Micro SD card is visible, so maybe it’s possible future updates can be loaded. View attachment 1729909

Well IF - and its a mighty big if - the image of the tricorder they included with the preview for the "fit and finish" update is anything to go by, the slot for the SD card is still there.

I had to manipulate the picture but I never noticed this slot before.

Do you have an example of the color you’re referencing? The original screen wasn’t blueish. Also remember, this is a real video screen whereas the original prop wasn’t.

Well…allow me to put on my “Sassy Mr. Know-it-All Hat”…that’s the exact same control faceplate installed on the Jein Tricorder (seen below), just a bit lighter looking in direct sunlight.
