The Wand Company TOS Tricorder is coming!

Got the invite just now and ordered. Creative financing and all that jazz - you know the drill kids! Another set of payments,
Yep, bite the bullet, pull the trigger, hope for the best. Will pick up a few extra shifts. I could have ordered two, sell the other on eBay and covered my costs:lol:

New here, been a minute since I jumped on a BBS, forgive the noob mistakes, but my tricorder is on its way!

Best scenes, imo…for Spock’s improper use of a Tricorder, “actor to prop”, I’ve seen.

Apparently not only is he able to barely see if at all, the screen at an upside down angle, he’s also able to determine the existence of a life form and calculated azimuth direction of the Gorn.

I find it humorous….

Focus on Spock and his handling of the Tricorder only. Never once does he turn the Tricorder to look at the screen right side up and directly.

Someone had posted, if I recollect correctly, that McCoy in another episode, is the only character that ever turned the Tricorder screen towards himself for him to see the screen right side up and directly as it should have always been used like that while filming. (Notice the short brown strap)

I though Spock always pointed the front at whatever he was scanning, then turned it around and looked at it after the scan, I know I saw Scottie at least once holding it face up with the bottom pointing straight out, I think they were just trying something new.

Dammit Jim!!! Now I have to order a brown leather strap too!

I thought I remembered it being brown in an episode or two but honestly didn't recall it being that distinctively brown. I thought it was more or a dark brown colour.

Now, who is going to get multiple straps to match specific episodes? TWC, are you listening?
That’s an Easy Peasy fix…..just buy the longest black/brown reversible belt you can find…strip off the hardware and trim to fit….

TWC should have made the strap reversible with two finished sides both black and brown colors.
