The Wand Company TOS Tricorder is coming!

HAHAHA Ooops! Someone saw your post in this thread. I hope Andrew didn't actually take that as complaining but rather being so in love with it that we're now analyzing every minute detail even before receiving them.
Well, from the way Andrew described it, it didn't sound like he was talking about my post, which was very, very far from "complaining" or "body shaming" the tricorder. But since he focused on the side panels, I had to allow for the possibility that he was talking about my post (or at least about what someone had said to him about it), so I just sent him a DM.

I summarized for him what I actually said, including that I said twice in that post that I wasn't complaining, and that it's "not a show stopper by any means." I also told him I'd reposted his post correcting the error, and finally, I supplied him with a link to my original post and offered a screenshot. So any misunderstanding should be cleared up now.

For the moment, though, I'm assuming that somebody else posted something very harsh somewhere else, maybe on FB, and that's what he was told about. Because I'd really, really hate to think that someone on the RPF would twist my words to such a degree, and I can't imagine why anyone would do such a thing. That would be really, really sleazy and underhanded behavior, and I'd much rather believe that no one here would do that.

Good grief guys, if this doesn't settle it, I don't know what would. My only remaining question is whether the supposed "taper" is really some sort of optical illusion. I honestly can't tell even in this photo, except to say that whatever it is, Wand nailed the prop exactly.

Congrats!

Wait just a minute…..hey you got dust particles on the box cover…Arghhhh

Send it back and let them know you want a “case fresh” boxed packaged tricorder!

How dare they……

:)

Ah….I see where the white (and possibly black) specks are coming from……the lettering on the box cover is flaking off. Zoom in…
