I've decided that even when I receive the link I'm not going to order the Tricorder until I see what sort of tariffs people here in the n US get hit with. I don't mind $400 and change but if it gets to $500-$600 or more, I'm out and will just have to make do with my MR Landing Party Set.
I just checked and get the same message. Looks like things are still screwed up.

That original link shows up when they don't have any stock . I initially got it before it went live for a few minutes and then I ordered. No problem.
Same….my order has not been canceled and my card was charged yesterday.
I ask you all to look upon me with envious eyes.
I will until you get hit with a few hundred dollars in tariffs and then I will be very thankful I missed out yesterday.

I had that initially yesterday, but on subsequent attempts I got through. It probably means they don't have any stock loaded yet. They have 952 incoming units to deal with, and then they'll release the email notices.

I wonder how many people who ordered yesterday ordered more than 2 and if there is anything in place to stop people from ordering 2. I'm really going to be PO'd if these start showing up on ebay where it seems that one or two people got a lot more than 2 and are selling them at a huge mark up.
I received an email from them saying my card was declined and an email from my bank saying they suspected fraudulent activity on my card, so I need to tell my bank it's OK when they open this morning. Amazon did say that it would arrive on May 7th so that's past the tariff date. I don't know, maybe this is the guy upstairs way of telling me I don't need to be wasting my money on this thing.

You're not the only person I've heard from this morning saying their card was declined. The other guy called his bank and they said everything was fine, and he even filled up his vehicle with no issues.
As far as the tariffs, it's true there's a nonzero risk, but Charlotte did say that tariffs would be applied on the day of purchase. So there's that.

Our price will remain the same, the tariff will be calculated by Amazon on the day of purchase (currently zero for purchases under $800 value from the UK) and will depend on the tariff due at the time of purchase, but we are still considering our options based on the latest round of tariffs.

Don’t know why some orders are beyond ordered and past dispatch for May 7….I’ll just monitor updates. I to had the issue of credit card declined by my bank….so I just updated with other card….perhaps I’ll see the update to reflect “dispatched” seeing how the payment info is new for charging….
