The price point will stay the same, with tariffs added on top.

I, too, cannot wait to receive the Tricorder, mess around with it for about a day, and then place it on a shelf where it will then perform its primary function as a “dust catcher”.

I am just being honest regarding what becomes of most of these things, for me.

It'll depend on whether they can get them to us by 12:01 AM on May 2nd. That's when the de minimis exemption goes away and the tariffs kick in.

Here's the most recent update on the tariff rates for de minimis items as posted by Reed Smith LLC, a law firm that practices trade law:

For all we know they could ship this month. They started production late March.

I decided to figure out what was up with the timeline of the hero vs. fiberglass tricorders. And it seems that the process at least began while Season 1 was still in production. I'm probably late to the party on this, but here goes anyway.

First, the two heroes:

This is designated, I think, Hero A--straight door handles, leather strap, moire disk.



This would then be Hero B--again, straight door handles, leather strap, and holographic jewel disk.

So both heroes definitely had the straight door handles. Wah didn't make the bent ones.

It's hard to see in this shot, but the B/Jewelarama tricorder did have bent door pulls, but they hadn't been radiused on the edges yet...
