Interest Star Trek TOS Science Scanner Run for 2025 - Waiting List Started

Quick Update: I'm half way done machining the lines on the tubes. I expect to have all of them done by the end of the week. Next week I plan on machining the switch boxes.
Friday Update: I've completed the lines on the tubes and will start working on the switch box area this weekend. I'm expecting to have the tubes completely done by next weekend when I'll start work on the buildups.
The waiting list has been updated. I'm starting to run out of spots so if anyone else is interested in getting a buildup or a kit, you've got about one week left to post a reply or send me a pm.

Quick update: I've completed the machining portion of the project. Today I will be polishing the tubes and tomorrow I will begin assembly.
There's a good chance that the first kits and buildups will be available by Friday night. I will probably be sending out pm's with payment information (or tracking numbers for those who have pre-paid) at that time for those of you on the waiting list.
Again, if anyone is interested in getting a kit, please let me know before the end of the week.
Also, I have a kit that with a switch area that was machined in the wrong spot. It's off by about 1/4", so if anyone is interested in that one, I'm willing to knock $50 of the total price for it.

Update for today: The first wave of scanners blasted off on Saturday.
The next wave will be going out tomorrow.

Currently, I have 4 spares plus one with an "error". If you're interested in getting either a buildup or kit, feel free to send me a pm. I don't expect the spares to last very long.

Machining has started on 11 units. I'm still looking at early October before these are finished. Save your pennies!
Weekend update: I've completed half of the caps. The remaining caps should be done by next week. After that, I will start work on the cylinders.

Friday update: The caps are coming along fine and I'm expecting to have them finished some time next week. Also, I recently received the last of the electronic parts needed to complete the current run and they look great.

Friday update: I'm happy to say that the caps are done and packed up. I've already started on the cylinders and expect to have them done in a couple of weeks.
