This helps tremendously, Malibu139. Thank you so much. Could you take one more photo of the sleeve laying flat with the center seam in the middle? Like this one?I am along for the ride here and glad to help whenever I can with pics or whatever helps. And its fun.
This is getting REALLY nuanced (like is wasn't already … lol)
Never in a million years would I have noticed that detail. Maybe it has something to do with the lining since that is where it attaches on the inside of the SR
Found these of my Magnoli and the detail you are talking about is there I think. looks like the lowest part of the cuff attaches on top of the next part of the sleeve. Also one of them shows the pronounced "scoop" at the end you were discussing the other day.
I know the angles aren't quite perfect for the seam detail you are looking at but hope this helps Mechanismo .

Sorry , these are old pics I dug up and I don't have that awesome coat any longer. This helps tremendously, Malibu139. Thank you so much. Could you take one more photo of the sleeve laying flat with the center seam in the middle? Like this one?
Thanks for the clarification, When I said 'center seam' I was always referring to the one I was discussing in all those comparison photos, that is to say, the one running down the center of the front side of the sleeve as you picture on the left. But you're absolutely right. It really should be referred to is the sleeve's 'front' and 'back' seam. Duly noted! Thanks!Hey,
There is no center seam in sleeve, just only two seams, on back and on front with double top stitches.
I haven't found inside center seam IN movie coat images neither LA fashion show.
If anyone has any picture of armpit so please share here.

Can you explain what we're looking at here? Viewed from from left to right, is that forearm+elbow+upper arm sections?Have a look at these updated sleeve images, and I'm pretty sure there is no angled cuff.
If I found any good reference from film about center seam so I'll add it up.

I will also email SR as promised and show them the many significant changes and improvements. I will encourage them to incorporate these into their lineup either as revisions OR as a third alternative, call it the SA version of the officer K coat (in addition to the two existing versions of the coat they currently have). But it boils down to support and pressure on the company so they really need to hear from YOU once I've sent my email. If more people tell them that they will buy a (or another) jacket if the proper changes are implemented, I am sure they would consider changing the shearling or moving the collar etc. It's worth a shot to save future fans and buyers the hassle of having to put this together yourself as well as the significant cost associated with it. Thanks everyone and happy holidays
Looking nice!Hello Guys,
I just received back new fur after dying.View attachment 1545127
Not sure you could dye the SR the way it’s coated.Hey all, thank you tremendously for pouring all this detective work into something like this, I got a question.
I cant tell if the first jackets color difference is just really weird lighting or did he do some waxing and dyeing? He said it was out of box, so maybe the jacket on the right is an old version?

Also since were already in 2022, anyone have maybe an speck of hunch when Soul Revolver will finally update their shearling? I really want to buy this jacket for me and then a Zlurpo for my dad, or possibly an Egon if it comes out good... He's a big fan.
And thank you all, and also thank you for being such big inspiration for a guy who previously had no interest in design and tailoring until reading this thread.
