Interest ROTS Obi Wan Belt Hanger

The current plan is that they will be available to purchase on May 4th, and be in the hands of the customer by the 20th anniversary of Episode 3, May 19th. Of course this mainly depends on the prototype and any possible snags along the way that may present themselves.

Hopefully everything goes smooth, looking forward to the prototype.

I had written materials representative of the original prop- which is admittedly vague. Sorry about that.

I have also updated the materials in the post to have more clarity
Thanks for this! Yeah I’ve been reading the Prop 373 details and see that you guys are matching for the static, and I love this! Wasn’t sure about that upper neck piece. Awesome and thanks.

Also, Dad and Mom brains are a real thing….you get a BIG pass!!

Looking forward to seeing the box design especially the bundle version. Might be the push I need to spring for both instead of just going for an FX one.

Will the carbon steel parts in the FX version ship completely bare or will the appropriate finish be on the various parts?

At this time I think its worth mentioning that we are watching the tariff situation closely between our country (USA) and our manufacturer’s (China). Hopefully things de escalate and it is much ado about nothing… If they do not we may have to make adjustments. Obviously trying to avoid any pricing changes but I want to acknowledge the reality that they, frustratingly, may force some.

Could you possibly ship to a country with lower tariffs, repackage and ship to the US? It would add expense, but might be cheaper than shipping directly.

The tarrifs are calculated based on country of manufacture. So, for a big corporation that has to report all that stuff, no.

There might be the ability to have the parts shipped to another country and then assembled/painted/finished there, and that MIGHT qualify it for a lower tariff rate.

I'm really not sure, but figured it's something to look into.

Hi!
New to this and just saw y’all’s thread. If available and able to join, I’m interested! Not sure which version yet but at least one.
Question: Why do both have notable differences when it comes to the materials used? I may have read wrong if that’s not true.
Thanks! :)

Simply put, the FX utilizes full metal construction with the end goal of a strong and serviceable FX assembly, designed to be installed and stand up to the rigors of dueling. If it were made with the same materials as the static: it would not be able to withstand those same demands due to the difference in construction method and goals of use.
