Okay these won't work. They still wont look right and the edges need to be cut round on the flap cover.

Gonna send them and the big envelopes back.

Okay so these cost $156 total. I will lose the $20 for shipping to me and another $20 to return them.

More importantly I have looked all over the planet, via Google, and I can not find anything even close to these that would work.

The flap being a little to small is the only real problem. The seem is not as noticeable as in the pics. I may also be able to reverse it as there is no seem on the back, cut the flap off and glue a bigger piece for a flap from another one.

The Plastic pouches I think will work, but we need thinner Classified labels and I will need to build some kind of cutting jig for the corners of the flap.

In addition to not wanting to lose money, more importantly I can not find anything else even close that would work.

Ethan is looking into custom plastic clear pouches, but that can get pricey.

I think getting new labels may be the best option. You wont have to spend the money shipping them back, and I'm thinking custom envelopes will be a lot more expensive. The envelopes do look really good, just need a smaller label. I can fix that no problem.

During a break tomorrow I am going to play with modifying the big envelope and painting a test clear pouch.

Quick and dirty by hand with scissors.

I cut the flap and formed a new flap out of the back of another one.

It will take two to make one, so I will send people three each and they can play with them and mod them as they like to make one good one.

Not great, but best I can do.

Okay I am sending out a few supplies to three members and the rest of the stuff I have will be going into the kits I will put together for sale to recoup some money.

FYI The "Red" Top Secret folders I have are a little big for the tan outer files I have. Adam stated he took many liberties as very little of how the files are organized is shown.

To me, in the film it looks like the Red Top Secret file does not come in an additional file, but is on it's own.

Hi Guys,
Bummer about the vinyl pouches and envelope. I ordered 6 of the other ones you recommended without the snap.
For now they're fine but if we can have them custom made I'd chip in. I had the Time magazine cover I posted printed at my local printer and it came out insane. It was only $13. They did it two-sided and trimmed it perfect. Going to add a back side to the Newsweek article and I'll post both of those when I finish today. Setting this one up to be printed on a regular 11x17 then you'll have to trim off 3/8" on one side. The trick is finding the right paper since it's in black and white. I could also add the aged color to the background in photoshop but then I'd have to take it to the printer to be printed.

Thank You. I've downloaded all the files that have been uploaded throughout this link so far. I got some extra war pictures I found that which I had printed out to go along with the rest. I'll upload those. Couldn't find the classic picture of his wife so I used this one of Jean Simmons.
