I'm not sure...I think #4 might be Kettenkrad too.
Good job John!So #4 is the Kettenkrad and while looking at the Kettenkrad I found this piece that has fallen off, so I've update this map.

Thanks to you making me look at the kit.Good job John!

I didn't see that in the kit when we looked last, and I looked through 2 of 'em. I'm going to have to go back. Hmm? Am I missing that out of both?So #4 is the Kettenkrad and while looking at the Kettenkrad I found this piece that has fallen off, so I've update this map.

Which part? #4 with the prongs, or the one that fell off?I didn't see that in the kit when we looked last, and I looked through 2 of 'em. I'm going to have to go back. Hmm? Am I missing that out of both?
The one that fell off.Which part? #4 with the prongs, or the one that fell off?
Hey Read!I think I found the missing radar dish leg pieces:
These four guys must come from the original vintage Nichimo 1/500 Ise ship, and not the new/reboxed one that is also boxed as the Hyuga:

You want the kit on bottom, not the one on top.
The instructions for the vintage kit look like this:

and if you look closely, you'll notice that in a separate bag you get a different set of microgreeblies (on separate black sprue, not grey) than what you get in the modern boxings:

I'm fairly confident that the 4 pieces you're looking for are "2 tall" and "2 short" pieces from Parts #122.
And of course, I say "fairly confident" because my kit came with everything EXCEPT these pieces, so I don't have them to photograph and compare and count 17 ladder rungs on, but I know they are in the black sprue separate baggie by comparison to the modern kit, and because part #50 was the mystery greeblie that evaded me for years on the Y-Wing wing subassembly. And they look to be around the right size, in comparison with part #50 which is only about 4.5mm tall.
Anyway, that's my theory. Anyone who's built one want to confirm or deny?
Really?!! (MPC?)Did you guys see MYC is doing a 5ft, although scaled down to the ESB size, ANH Falcon?
Not MPC...these guys...One Of A Kind Custom Statues | Myc SculpturesReally?!! (MPC?)
Hey John... I just pulled Kettenkrad again... I have Esci and Hasegawa, both have same part numbers so I'm assuming yours are the same too, or are you going off a scan?
Sent you a pm.So #4 is the Kettenkrad and while looking at the Kettenkrad I found this piece that has fallen off, so I've update this map.

I thought when we were looking at that rear port sidewall we were thinking of possibly using at least one of either Kettenkrad part #154, or #155 for the piece that attaches to the underdome. As for the other part that sits on the sidewall I still don't know what that could be and haven;t found anything yet. I did look for the part you mentioned earlier, which is #109 and I found it in one of the kits. I also found one more similar piece looking through the kit again. Funny how you can't see the forest for the trees sometimes, isn't it? That's my new favorite saying this week! Haha! I think I only saw 154 and 155 last time I looked, now there's 4 parts all of a sudden in there that look the part.
Out of all of them I would still guess that at least one of those two (154 or 155) is used there to attach under the dome, but I still don't see any of them working on the sidewall part of it. 109 (is curved on the side a bit. The part you have listed.), 119 (is too much work), or 154-155 (I think maybe the long one, 155)? There are Kettenkrad parts around there, so it's not a giant leap. I would still like to know what was glued up to the sidewall though... Sometimes things jump right out at you, sometimes they don't. What do you think about it?
Still working on the back of radar and those few pieces yet. Haven't found them yet (thought I did a couple times! Haha!), and that one Hummel piece under the A-Frame... I don't think that's Hummel, or can't find it (or them) in there. Still looking. Ugh!

My current (far fetched) theory is it's 8x Ise part #63 cut off at the top (towards dish), although honestly that seems a bit too much fiddely work for such a hidden part. But I'm more leaning towards rectangular base than round.Hey Read!
Next time you're by your kits and the "Hyuga" could you snap a pic of these parts I circled in red? The 1980 ISE kit is also different in this area. I only have what looks to be #17 in your kit (Part #51 in my ISE kit) (x3). This kit does not have #6, or #8. I'm still working on radar trying to find these, and curious to know what these parts look like in your kit. Although the parts manual doesn't exactly have this shape, I figured it's worth a shot! If these aren't it, could take a look in your kit and see if you see the parts under the dish that I circled in the radar pic?
Thank you in advance!

They do look square in some pics, and round in others. At first glance in some of the grainy shots almost reminds me of battleship guns with the barrels cut off. The basic shape of them. I don’t think that’s it’s, but I can imagine it’s on a sprue that has 8 parts to go with around here. Like the Stug parts they had to choose from on Radar. My current theory is it's 8x Ise part #63 cut off at the top (towards dish), although honestly that seems a bit too much fiddely work for such a hidden part.
