An RPF Open Source 5 ft Millennium Falcon Build/Reference Thread. All Are Welcome

Also, this part shows the Mustang part, but it looks like a Hawker Hurricane part to me.

I used the Hurricane part on mine. The spark plug cable, second from the top, matches better.

As for your previous question, I'm not sure I understand.
It doesn't look like Bandai to me. In my image, it is arranged like this.

Looks like the Tamiya Centurion part might be sitting on top of something else to push it up that high. I've only ever had the 'top down' photo found in the Chronicles book, so didn't realize that was poking up to the top of the hull. I'll have to make some changes to my build.

Someone told me that the Tam35121 US Infantry Weapons Set has the Flame Thrower for the Falcon. Looking at them there seems to be some small differences. I bought the wrong M3 kit. The one without the flame thrower. Here's the two versions.

The M3 version has a ring around the tank. And a longer center section.

Here's the one from the weapons set. It also has a different center. Just my luck, lol.

Now that I look at them, there are several differences. The piping and the nipples are different as well. Guess I need to buy a new M3 kit, : (

Sorry this thread had dropped to page 2 and that's not acceptable, ; ) Anyhoo, where is the Tamiya Pak 40 used on the Falcon. Just saw I'd bought this kit for something, lol.

Life has pretty much been kicking me in the groin since December, but I'm finally ready to get back to work on this.

I'll be adding some new scans this weekend. Also, I'd like to checkoff some of the part maps over on scifikitbash before I post more for corrections. So if you have a second and could vote for complete or needs changes, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
John

Kit Part approach to the Falcon is indeed very expensive but in my opinion worth it. Great contribution to you and other greeblie detectives on this site to enable accuracy. Original greebie map “pathfinders” included. That time & experience you guys spend is also extremely valuable.
