5-foot Millennium Falcon - parts lists & complementary Info

Part one is from the Bandai 1/48 King tiger kit if my memory serves me right.
The part is very similar but not exactly the same in the Panther G kit
Thank you sir! Your memory is obviously excellent

I just realized that the 'new' ESB pits of the Falcon are compiled (almost) entirely from parts from the original pits. Seems many of you knew this already and have pointed this out occasionaly, but just for reference I made this lookup map. Blue marked parts can be found now in the port, orange in the starboard pit. Cyan originate from the former starboard, magenta from the former port pit. Yellow parts I did not find in the original pits (yet?). Images from Chronicles and Alan Anderson.

Those photos of the ESB underside pits are great! Would you know where they could be found, not marked up?

I did a bunch of research on the appearance of those revised pits:

Dear 3Dsf,
yes, I know, I heavily relied on your notes also and should have mentioned that here, so thank you!!
I'll pm you about the photos.

... and I was mixing up colors. Missing part in 6 on top of the lunar lander is Aurora Forrestal or Saratoga. This info has been on 3Dsf's notes only ~6.5 years now, took me a while to find it.
Sorry jcoffman99, you're missing 59 kits now I guess ;)

Hi fellow Falcon nutters,

here comes a little experiment. I have identified (99% sure!) the following part added on top of the starboard backwards FalGal plate…
1731186057534.png

… and will share its ID with anybody who is willing to share in return some unique 5’ Falcon info or interesting Falcon related stuff with me.
Here are the conditions:
- what you give is yours to share.
- you can share the ID afterwards with anybody, I don’t want to keep it secret, I just want a little fun out of this! Just please don‘t post it around here immediately…
- I‘m looking for any of the following, preferably in large quantities, but one would do just fine too: facts considered not commonly known, not public (or wide spread) photos from exhibitions or vintage footage, a nice shot from your builds if you have and want to share (preferably not posted already, but I’m not picky!), unknown greeblies IDs of course, mysterious kits (haha, at least I can try), digital greeblies that are close to the original or any other bit you think is appropriate or might be of interest.
- anything you sent I understand as private and confidential unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Now as with every experiment, I’m really curious what comes out this one!
Cheers
Manu

:) Look who smiles there! Thank you very much for letting us know Shamon, welcome to the RPF!
And thanks for sharing a glimpse of your work.
Do you think both clones hide in that pit?

I didn't notice at all! Thank you for letting me know.
The size is also perfect.

I think I found this guy.
Nichimo 1/35 Remote control tank.
I had two remote control tank, but I sold them before I knew it, so I don't have them anymore.
I regret letting them go.

I don't suppose you recall which tank that was from?

Without seeing the actual part, my concern would be the diameter. If you measure the part as used on the PG Bandai kit, that gear's diameter is ~11mm. Most of the spur gears I see in the radio control tank kit drive units are in the 5-6mm range.

It's certainly the right shape though.

Hi Shamon,
I agree with Dave, no need to regret those sales. Here a pic from John’s 1/35 Nichimo JagdTiger from SciFiKitbash, which looks very similar to the one you posted. The shape looks good, as Dave already wrote, but the size does not fit :(
Cheers

Great find Shamon! ... I always assumed it was a piece of the rubber tubing from the Lotus 49.
Do you think the subsequent pipe that continues under the hull shown below is also connected to that piece? Shaddows would indicate that it sits right under the hull plating. On most builds I see it connected one 'level' down.
