OK, skipped an update last week coz it was just more bleedin' engines, but I'm pleased to say they are now mostly done...just the weathering to do. The Wing Turbines will be assembled on site because they are 6M in length, as will fitting the Afterburners into the Engines. It all goes together using Aluminium scaffold poles inserted through the engine bodies and braced with steel brackets at key stress points...hopefully

Unreal…and I find my little studio scale X-Wing to be an intimidating project, by comparison…

Now we want to see a making-of photo with the artist!
As most of you are probably aware, this will be displayed at Outpost One in Germany.
So all the engines are done and I'm on to the landing gear...and as there is not much reference around, I can go a bit off script. I'm using parts from an old car, a motorcycle and some outboard engines, with some scaffolding giving me the structure I am looking for. The 'shoes' will be shells that sit over the hardware that is literally doing all the heavy lifting;

I am so jealous of your work, especially your speed. I've done a few "large projects", probably only medium by your standards, and I could die happy doing ONE of your plethora of props. It's quite humbling!

Yeah, just no words can suffice to praise this. A MAZ ING!
I still can’t wrap my brain around the print process for these bits. I takes me so so so many hours to just print the bits for one Death Star tile master and those are only 2x2 feet. I don’t understand how you can print so many HUGE components SO fast.
