wow, only seeing this now. This is really amazing. I have seen many attempt at lifesize xwings, always with wrong proportions, inaccurate shapes and very generic details. But this one looks really like a blown up version of the filming model, down to the paint job. It looks more accurate than the actual life size set model from the original movies (except the one they built for rogue one maybe, which was pretty spot on)

OK so the journey has come to an end and I've loved nearly every minute of it. A full week of unloading, lifting, Jacking, fitting and fixing, and 7 months solid work has seen it done. Huge thanks to the team at Outpost One, Marc, Lucasz, Frank and Florian for their faith and tireless endeavour in getting this completed.

There will be more, pro pics in the next few weeks, as the display space gets a makeover. Thanks for watching

Thank Frig it's over...!!....It was so stressful...!!

The constant checking of the thread to see ANY updates, then the stress of seeing this amazing build piece by piece come together, then EVERY single shot, I had to try and get my head around how that part was built, not just the process...BUT the ACCURACY...!!

To be honest...I'm soooo glad it's over...Now I can go back to making small things on my desk....
