Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Since we literally only have this small glimpse at the costume, that’s why I haven’t jumped on any of the RRL jackets or replicas (and partially why I didn’t want to mislead anyone and initially post the jacket before). That’s a LOT of money to spend only to not be sure if it’s correct or not. There’s no shots showcasing if the pockets match or not, we may have to wait for more trailers of the actual movie. Not enough evidence to positively ID it! I initially thought it was the brown one then leaned towards the indigo. I’m holding off until there’s more reference materials for the jacket. And I’m especially not going to buy those RRL pants until that’s 100% confirmed lol.

Yeah, I agree...While it's good to have a VERY good idea about what he used, at the prices we're looking at here? I'm fine waiting until the film shows us more, or there's one last trailer to determine the jacket at least....The shirt and henley are less worrying, the trousers? I don't feel the need for as much, and also, probably can't fit into (I train legs the way Hugh trains his shoulders...LOL)...So...Fine waiting, but once the film comes out I suspect I'll change, I've done so for every single film so far, not likely to stop now....LOL

Best to wait on the jacket until we KNOW...As an aside, I sent mails to the clothing designers for the film, and so far no reply but I'm hopeful they'll respond at some point too....Will let you know.

I just felt like posting what I thought the jeans could be, no one is obliged to buy them and I’m certainly not going to. With the shirt, henley, and alternate jacket I am more than happy enough. I will most likely be using my everyday wear Chelsea boots and any close enough brown jeans that fit right.

Speaking about that alternate jacket, I found someone on the fedora lounge who made an order of a leather jacket from crush on retro and posted pictures. There is also another person on there who recommends them but didn’t post a picture.

I now feel much more confident in my purchase, for $241 I’ll likely end up with something close and am ready to go dressed as Logan for the premiere. Will likely try and make some “whisky dick” partial claws for fun but that’s not necessary

No way in hell will I be wearing a Henley, flannel, and heavy leather coat in July! Same here, Japan is already up at 27 degrees and it's only April....LOL.....I swear this year will push past 40....Fun times eh? I was hoping for an October release so I could dress for it....Nope..

Wow that arrived quick! Looks like the button placement lines up too. Thanks for the pics! I’ll probably hold off on getting this unless I find a good sale since my Billy Reid Henley I have is pretty damn close

Yeah, it looks spot on, aside from the colour, collar detailing too.. all seems to align.. the shirt should arrive soonish too.. trousers I had a look for in the RL shop here, but no luck.. I’ll wait until we see more details I think..

Well, decided to head on down to RRL here in Shinjuku and take a look at the jacket in person, and it's decent enough! Despite us not being 100% sure at this stage, I decided to order an M and it'll be here in a couple of days.....The lack of slant chest pockets seems to match so far, and the other details are all on, collar and cuff design, so barring the chest pockets (which I cant see, but may be there in the final film and missed on the trailer), I think this is the jacket.....

It was on sale in London at the time they made the film, although would have been brand new, and despite not being available to the US website, it matches closest...So, decided to jump on it and show you all what it works out like....Will post pics later when it comes too!

Yeah, that's my thought too! Not on sale though, I meant "selling in London", sorry for the confusion, I DID ask at the Tokyo shop if they'd reduce the price at any point, and was told that that wouldn't happen...So....Not cheaper, but still.... I don't think this will be the ONLY jacket too, but it's interesting enough to use, and my wife likes the look! So that helped for sure...Expensive, but not over the top, so why not? I can't wait to see what the film brings us aside from this one too...

I can fit two shirts under this but three is too tight.. just about right.. the L felt too long and the arms had a lot of room in them, this M is just perfect..

I don’t know if it IS the jacket they used, but it feels like a lazy Sunday wolverine version of the character, and it’s a lovely jacket in and of itself, even if I still believe it’s overpriced.. the leather is nice, but not 2000 pounds nice… If you can find one cheaper? Do it..

I’m hoping we see some pics from the bar scene in the Empire report soon, but I do think this jacket is “it”… lovely stuff, if overpriced

Great pic! And this kinda shows why I'm less sure about the Indigo being used...The second button down is where the pocket starts, so I'm reasonably sure it's not the slant pocket variation since you can't see any thread or pocket indication....Still...It's covered a little by the sleeve, so possible..And the colour here DOES look like the Indigo, but films recently all see to put this horrible green colour down as standard, so that might be that, instead..What you CAN see here, is the thinness of the jacket, which matches the RRL stuff...The leather is very thin...Looks thick, isn't at all.....I rather like that on the one I have

It's definitely overpriced......The leather is nice, but not 2K nice....It's a good jacket, but not 2K design "good".....But....I love jackets, and had the cash, so meh....LOL..Might as well? Kinda thing.....I don't have kids yet so my money burns holes in my pockets.....LMAO

I listed my size small RRL Deadpool and Wolverine shirt on eBay for anyone interested. Just looking to get back what I paid! Fits like a slim medium.
Someone also listed a size M NWT, but it’s $330 which IMO is at least $100 too much considering what it retailed for. They do have offers turned on if you want to try your luck with that!
