Hey sorry for not doing the pictures sooner I’ll do them later today but yeah they made that for me too but I’m kind of upset, I asked them to make the collar properly, but they butchered it up. That jacket looks great btw.

I’m upset because I paid 30$ for WSL to make the color properly and it looks ok but when I saw they could do it perfectly I got kind of upset. Here are the photos of what they asked them to do (keep in mind I told them the exact details on how to make it even with the curve at the end of the collar) and the finished result. They didn’t have the curves and made both sides have that indent along with the end of the collar going to the top of the shoulders.

Hey guys, a quick update on my modified WSL jacket. I recently died my WSL jacket with an Angulus black suede dye. And as I hoped, it gave it that very dark chocolate, brown color that I was looking for. As well as darkening the stitching from that weird and offputting golden brown to a more dark brown like the UGG. Also, I found almost an exact replica of the Toledo shearing that is used on the UGG, I happen to find it while walking through a JOANNs fabric stores. I would advise looking for materials, especially shearing’s, or other wool in person, rather than online. I’m currently trying to search for the exact learning that was used for the UGG, but I can’t seem to find the pattern. If anyone knows where to find the UGG lining, please message me. I’ll give you guys another update as soon as I get the collar done again.

And if anyone’s wondering what my reference is for this jacket, I’m currently trying to recreate this one as shown below. Any critiques or suggestions are welcome btw.

I know you posted this a while ago, but I’m going to get the wooly in sand and darken it from there. But when I replace the old shearling for the woolly, should I use one layer or two layers on the collar because I know you said it would be too thin.

One layer, the material is very thick

After 7 years, 76 pages, 1506 replies and 218,792 views. Not to even mention the handfull of replicas i've had trough my hands the past years. I finally got the UGG (and the RRL to go along with it) what a ride!
lucky devil! Are you going to alter it or keep it the way it is?

Here you go, if there's any more photos you want, just ask me.

Hey, been looking around for the best looking replica and the WSL one looks to be pretty good. I was just wondering if you gave them certain instructions, like for a darker side panel or stitching as this looks better than the pics theyve got on their website currently. Was just wondering if you could let me know the alterations you asked them to do (if any). Cheers!

Good to see people in 2023 still talking about the Murder Coat. ;) Zipper's fallin off again, but fack it. I love this jacket, man. I wear it everywhere.

hello guys, new here!
I always wanted a murder jacket and only knew the Magnoli one... after reading this thread, seems like Suzahdi is the best replica in the market
would be for a casual wearing, not cosplay
I would like to know you opinion!

Personally I'm not a fan of White Sheep Leather. Not at all. Everything was just bad and the lining was very flimsy. I scrapped the jacket and used it for making color samples to match the colors of the original jacket. I'm kind of surprised some people here actually like it. Maybe the quality has improved, but looking at the pictures I highly doubt it.

So that leaves Suzahdi and Magnoli. I feel that those are better. Of the two I feel that Suzahdi has better colors, but I can't tell about the actual quality.

But all seem to be unable/incapable of nailing down the jacket even if you point out all the details and even send them the original jacket (!) so they can get the pattern. The shoulder issue has never been solved as far as I'm aware. And it seems that whenever a new jacket gets made new issues pop up (cuffs incorrect, zippers of the side pockets placed in the wrong angle, seams that don't line up the way they should). The replica jackets come out very inconsistently the way I see it. Some look pretty good, others of the same company look pretty bad. Perhaps this is in part because they are made custom and that there are various variations and updates over time.

Apparently this jacket is some sort of alien technology that no one can replicate. Really, all they need to do is basically copy the UGG jacket of which everything about it is documented in detail at least for the L and XL and make only a few minor alterations.
