Walking Dead Rick Jacket

Also I don’t want to spend a lot on buying the Kenneth Cole KC3584. So I found a similar one made by Kenneth Cole, does this one look close to it besides it be a 24 hour clock. Link: Unlisted Men's Watch UL51156003 - Walmart.com
this is mine..38mm same as his. Its not perfect at all but i only paid 30$ for it. I took the bracelet from a different watch that i paid 80$ for, so sadly i cant give you any links...

So for mine I used leather dye black to do it and then when I went over my jacket again with a dabbing sponge to dye the suede again it kinda automatically dimmed the stitching down.

However, I’ve been trying for months to dim down the stitching on the jacket, I’ve tried sharpies, water dye, leather dye, and suede dye. So I did a lot of trial and error. But soon enough, I’m going to be trying Jacquard idye to see if it makes it darker. Right now the stitching is a light or dark gray, you can barely see it in regular lighting, but it still bothers me.

The reason the thread on the jacket didn’t dye is because it’s a synthetic material and you’re probably gonna have to die over it a couple times to get it to the opacity you like, so that’s why I’m gonna try out Jacquard idye.

I’ve tinkered a lot with my jacket since the last time I posted an update. I dab dyed the suede again to get rid of any imperfections in the coloring so I can look like one solid color in the light, I’ve dirtied the collar with grounded, coffee, and a little bit of paint, and I’d even died the side panels of the jacket, a darker color.

If you want, I can post another picture of my jacket.
I saw this post of yours on how to dye with Rit Dye. But I'm still still not sure how much dye to use? You said 1/2 a cup but is that half of the bottle of the dye or what? Because the Rit Dye will arrive tomorrow.

That’s kinda what color my side panels are dry. I’d wait until it dries to show you the true color of it. Again, you might have to go over it a few times. But you did a wonderful job on the suede coloring and stitching!!!
I just cant seem to do the side panels good, now that they dried they almost look like i didnt dye them at all and i already did it 4 times :/ also the thing that bothers me the most, is the stains now. Looks like i didnt dye it in a good motion or something and now the side panels got stains.. do you maybe know how do i remove those? They look like oil stains now..

I heard you’re using brown rit dye. If you want to darken something you use the Charcoal gray or black rit dye.

Do you recommend charcoal gray or black also will the side panels still look brown after using this ?

What i noticed using this chocolate brown rit dye is that the left side looks a bit darker than the right :(

Charcoal gray is what I used to darken my side panels. It took a few tries to get what I wanted but now they look exactly like the ugg
