To be honest, it really just depends on how much you really like the UGG. If you just want a jacket that’s similar to it and not exactly like it then I’d say you should go for Magnolia or suzahadi.
Me personally, I went with WSL because my previous jacket purchase from Suzahadi was a huge letdown. I don’t know if it was just an older model of their jackets, but the one that I got the collar was way too big in the Shirling on it was way too thick, and seem to be more shearling than it was just regular wool curls. The side panels weren’t made out of polyester or anything soft but instead was made out of this weird almost like cheap birthday tablecloth, material. And the suede while it was soft, it felt really cheap to me. Didn’t feel like something you could actually wear outside.
Well magnolia, I’ve never owned one. I’ve seen that people wait months for that jacket only for it to come out looking just like a Suzahadi jacket. I know some people say that Magnolia is as close as it gets to the UGG, but to be honest, the colors on that jacket are way too bright, and it just looks super cheap and once again, doesn’t look like an outdoor jacket, but rather cheap cosplay jacket.
That’s not to say that WSL doesn’t have any problems because it does. The two biggest problems are the collar and the shoulders. The shoulder is with the lining that the jacket comes with point up exponentially and the fur collar is very cheap. There is stitching that comes with it that’s really bright and yellow but you can just ask them to have it match the suede, so that’s not really a problem. But a base WSL unmodified is definitely pretty low on the spectrum. But when you start modifying the jacket like I have in other people in this server have it has a lot of potential to actually be almost frame for frame just like the jacket. I recently just finished modifying mine for the last time and I am happy to say that I can look at Rick’s jacket in the show and confidently say that I have that jacket.
Again, between the three brands it’s really just up to you what you want, me personally, I wanted an outdoor jacket that was rough and that I didn’t have to worry about getting dirty. WSL is made of a lot sturdier suede than the other two brands and if you want it to look more like the one in the show, you’re gonna have to modify it by yourself if you’re willing to. It was a fun summer project for me and it came out great. The most expensive things to do to the jacket were just getting suede dye and getting the collar done, everything else was very cheap.
But yeah, razor is right there’s something about this UGG jacket that no one can replicate, it’s not even a difficult jacket. It’s literally just a suede Levi jacket with a fur collar and some side panels lol.
