Welp I got bored so I decided to take all the lining out of the magnoli jacket that I have. Didn’t really know what I was doing but the jacket is definitely more flexible now and a lot lighter.
Did you remove the inner pocket too?Welp I got bored so I decided to take all the lining out of the magnoli jacket that I have. Didn’t really know what I was doing but the jacket is definitely more flexible now and a lot lighter.
Sadly yes I had tooDid you remove the inner pocket too?
Also another thing I noticed with the smaller brands making the jacket, is most of them already have the same color suede of the jacket in the show. While the three biggest ones have a lighter dark brown. This jacket looks amazing for being only 90 dollars. Not sure if the guy asked for customizations on the jacket or not but it looks amazing and looks like the shoulders wouldn’t be pointy.
Very true! Weird how that works. I still get frustrated how much information these companies have on how to have an amazingly close replica but still just get so far on certain areas like the shoulders and collar. Also another thing I noticed with the smaller brands making the jacket, is most of them already have the same color suede of the jacket in the show. Yeah, I don't know if it's possible but I've always been thinking of paying someone a handsome amount of money to do it themselves and use all the information on this forum.Very true! hmm, looks like a paint stain. I think grey is the closest color.Definitely thinking about dyeing it. Maybe a dark charcoal grey or black? What do y’all think?View attachment 1716693
Do you think dyeing it would cover up the stain?hmm, looks like a paint stain. I think grey is the closest color.
I think it would cover it up very well, I'm not sure if it will leave a little uneven bump there though.Do you think dyeing it would cover up the stain?
Not only am I trying to get the stain out but trying to make it as screen accurate as possible. And Shane’s jacket is a little bit darker I believeI think it would cover it up very well, I'm not sure if it will leave a little uneven bump there though.
Mine took 4.5 months in all. I asked for a specific size with some alterations to fit me, so took that it would take a little longer than usual. It was the 3 month mark when I got photos saying it was ready and asking was I happy with the measurements shown. The sleeves were not what I had asked for initially so I double checked my measurements and asked for them to have an inch added. From this point it was another 1.5 month. As you say, communication was not great. I had to reach out through here, Facebook and Instagram as well to get updates. I understand they are busy and things take time but it hasn’t endeared me. The saving grace is that my jacket fits well and seems well made, so I’m happy with what I received. It’s not perfect and I have my gripes but I’m glad I stuck with it. So in all, you’re not a nutter, you’ve paid for a product and are just expecting a level of customer service which isn’t meeting your expectations. Nothing wrong with that.I asked for a Large but with a little extra on the sleeves and shoulders I believe.
They're not great at responding to messages though, I'm starting to look like a Nutter in my messages.
Then I say go ahead and do it.Not only am I trying to get the stain out but trying to make it as screen accurate as possible. And Shane’s jacket is a little bit darker I believe
