Walking Dead Rick Jacket

Thats great. Im happy the jacket is working out for you. Yours also includes 2 improvements over mine as well being the shearling on the collar is much nicer, and the main zipper uses a larger gauge. I hope this will be the new standard!
thank you man, yes the patience definitely worked out in my favor. I’ve suggested to them that they only use materials that look like mine because that’s what’s customers want

I apologise and i know its completely off topic but does anyone here know the exact product code of the levi’s 514s rick wears from season 1-9, Ive asked everywhere but with no luck. Thanks

Figured i would share some more pictures now that it’s been broken in a bit since some people have been asking

Looks good man! Glad you're enjoying your new jacket!

So been speaking to Suzahdi on WhatsApp but they aren't the best at getting back to me I asked about getting pictures for the collar so I can see if it looks right, now all of sudden I got an email a few days ago saying my delivery will be today. I'm honestly a bit worried because I have no idea how it's gonna look wether they done the changes I asked or not. I'll keep yous updated, I really hope I don't have to return it because it's gonna cost me and I wanted to get it right before it even got sent. But thought this was a bit funny, attached the image of the delivery drivers name

Edit:
So jacket arrived and it's amazing! The suede is so soft and the lycra gives it that stretchy feeling when Ive got my hands in the pockets so feels natural in its fit, only thing is the shoulders are a bit big so makes the jacket look a bit off in my opinion I'm not sure if I can get that altered or not and if i cant i guess its time to start bulking! It is winter here in Scotland so perfect time to eat more food lol! I did send my measurements so not sure how its like that tbh but could just need broke in? The sleeves are a bit long too. They do make them like that but I did ask for shorter sleeves so will see if I can get them altered slightly too, so no big deal. Overall the jacket feels great and it's warm. Collar looks good and im very happy with the purchase. I'll send some photos when I get a chance. This is honestly such a great looking jacket!

i’m glad you like it! yeah dude send the pictures for sure i wanna see

So a few pics with and without a jumper underneath, notice what I mean with the shoulders/arm holes/top of the arms it's like they are a bit big and have excess that pushes up that makes the arms look bulky, I'm hoping I could get that fixed. I'll give the jacket it a bit of time before I do as it could just be because it's new leather and needs to conform to my body.

dude i’m gonna be honest with you , that jacket fits you pretty much perfectly, it’s just in your head. i would not do anything to it. Also, it definitely is the case that it just needs broken in. Believe me, in 2-3 weeks time it’ll feel like a different jacket

Nick01234 or tkerr152 has the shoulders on your guys’ jacket rounded out a bit after wear? If so could we see some updates? thanks

it’s definitely more rounded than when i first got it. It’s not completely 100% flat, but it doesn’t have a super huge point to it anymore. It looks at this point how you would expect any random jackets shoulders to look really

We are excited to announce that we have relaunched our Grimes Field jacket! We would love to hear your feedback on it. The top two buttons are star buttons, and the design is as screen accurate as possible.

Looks really good. Now if only you guys would fix the sizing. Looking at your size charts, you're adding way too much from chest size to actual jacket size. Why not just go off Levi's size measurements? it wouldn't be that hard to figure out the correct proportions.

Sorry man I never even realised you replied to me, thanks dude I really love the jacket and feel it fits really well, I will be honest in saying I just wasn't comfortable with the sizing of the shoulders it felt way too boxy, I'm glad I didn't go with a bigger size because it would have been worse.

I've took my jacket into the tailors to get the shoulders adjusted and the sleeves also, because they are just way too long and I think that might cause the issue of making the shoulders look boxy too as it's bunching up a fair bit around the bicep area when I have the buttons closed on the cuff, when they are uncuffed its fine the shoulders look more rounded and its relaxed. The tailor is taking 3 inches off the sleeves and that still brings the end of the cuff to my knuckles, kinda proves how long they were. And bringing the shoulders in an inch n half, the guy told me 2 weeks so I'm hoping it's ready by the upcoming Tuesday which is bang on the 2nd week.

I'll give you updated pictures when I get it and hopefully it helps with sizing for anyone else. I do appreciated your kind comments, but it just bothered me so much that I didn't feel comfortable in it at all, maybe it was in my head, but I'm very picky with clothing and the way things look on me if I don't feel comfortable I just won't wear it, and I've been wanting this jacket for so long that biting the bullet and spending that much money for it I want it to be right, so getting the tailor to adjust it helps my brain in saying, yup that looks good. Is worth it imo, plus it's only an extra £50 for all the adjustments.

But maybe your right if I waited it might have became a bit more rounded but I feel it should be like that from the get-go. Yeh suede is a leather than needs broken in but the jacket should sit rounded on the shoulders, for example, I do have another jacket I bought a while back from a different supplier its not screen accurate like this jacket but, it fits perfectly everywhere apart from the chest it's a bit tight (reason i dont wear it), but the shoulders are rounded and there's no boxyness at all and that was from day 1 when I took it out of the packaging so wasnt broken it, I feel it is definitely down to the design of this new jacket I'd say, it's like they put too much excess on the back shoulder area, bit on the chest and the sleeve bicep area just looks big, it bunches up and makes them pointy, so hindsight I should have gotten the XS.

I'll share pictures of the other jacket when I get a moment to show you.

Hello, just replied to Nick regarding the shoulders, hopefully answers your question

Their sizing charts are what worried me, a jacket I bought a while back from a different supplier uses the exact same measurements as suzahdi so when I bought a jacket from that supplier it came and the chest was way too small, overall the jacket was too tight, I ordered a small off them.

Now when I was gonna order my jacket from suzahdi I was sceptical in ordering a small, incase it was infact too small like the other supplier, but I'm glad I never went a size up and got the medium because it would have been worse, intact I should have went with the XS it would have fit way better around the shoulders and chest. I agree I think it needs updating on their sizing charts.

So for those that don’t have me on Instagram, here are better photos of my modified Ugg. My old photos never really showed it that well but I’m hoping these do it justice! It’s currently in the process of having new stitching done where the pocket was removed and being taken in at the sides. Once it’s finished in about 2 weeks I’ll post photos here.

Hello, so got my jacket back from the tailor, and I'm happy I went ahead and got it altered, it feels so much better.

The guy said there was a fair bit of excess around the shoulders that created a bulky look, along with shortening the sleeves. If you compare with the previous photos I sent you can see the difference, I think it sits and looks more relaxed. Also threw in pics of my old jacket I was talking about in my comment.

Cheers.

It definitely feels much better than before, I went for a small, I'm about 5,7

anybody who has the rick grimes field jacket, what’s your experience with the sizing of it? i know a lot of people say it’s incredibly baggy. did going down a size help with that? this is the look i’m going for size wise
