On my static prop I want the Stark and LG logos etched in. On the graphic prop....no logo etched, let the graphic take care of that.

I've researched the OLED tech awhile ago. Its truly a shame that there hasn't been a whole lot of really good use for it. The proping community would KILL for more commercial access to this.

I can think of one good practical prop use for it, masterchief/ODST visor HUD displays. Heck, you can use them for REAL HUD's!

People are moving slow with this kind of tech

Saw this a while back from CES I think.

Even this would be super helpful. Super thing flexible lighting panels. Looks brighter then EL and they are running the panels straight off of a 9v. No Inverter.

It actually looks pretty good with the graphics.
I hope propalooza will do some more by the time the Blu-Ray will be out and with the accurate graphics.

I'll probably work on something when I'll have all the references.

Is it me, or does the movie prop has 2 thin black frames all around the glass, not just one black one surrounding it?

EDIT: Re-read the whole thread. After seeing the made pieces, at the JY, it seem all phones were made with a single black layer. I definitely want the double black layer. PP on the way.

Hey guys, been looking at this after googling tony stark's cellphone cause, well, i like the look ?

Had an idea.. what about creating a whole iPhone / android interface that looks like this one, with an option ( that would be possible with a powerful phone as the iPhone 4, cause something similar already exists if i'm right ) to show the front camera display as a background to the interface, faking a transparent look from one side.


I'm a computer science student and when i look at this, this could really work and lets face it it'd be awesome.

I'm not awesome with objective C, which is the programming language used by iPhone apps, if there is any programmers up here that would like to work on that, let me know i'm willing to work on that!

If not i guess i'll take a look @ Big Boss, they have a lot of ressources when it comes to "cydia/jailbreak" apps/interface/themes.

PS: sorry if my english seems weak, it just isn't my primary language
