Tombstone Val Kilmer / Doc Holliday Costume

I will try to find the shadow makeup tutorial. Not to say it won't be a learning process but the little lady that I saw do this changed her nose with simple makeup, no effects gelatin or anything. I have used gelatin to go bigger but the shadow portion eludes me. Will post here when found.

That is AWESOME! Thank You greenmachines

First the make it any shape tutorial but the second one is the intended how to:

Takes a bit if patience but it gets there. And finally this one, a duplicate by another artist. Be prepared to fast forward past the chatting.

And poof you have the right nose.
As I said in a previous post;) And thank you greenmachines for posting the technique. Not all is gelatin/prosthetics effects;)

Doc’s Gambling Knife

Reading The Guns and Gear of Tombstone they show a knife that is said to be the knife Val used in the movie (third photo), but you can plainly see from the screen grab (first photo) that this is NOT the knife Val used. The second photo is me holding a knife I found and bought on eBay. I would say this is MUCH CLOSER to the movie Knife than the one shown in the book. Since the knife from eBay is a cheap knife and not made very well at all, I decided to to get a high quality knife custom made, so now I have a knife in the works with a custom knife maker, which will also come with a custom made sheath to match Val’s shoulder rig

Oh the things I will do for my collection

I have been schooled on this recently as I have a very potent personal flaw. I always do everything myself. Sometimes you need to bring in the pro.

could the screen shot be the retractable blade version gimmick ?
It’s a possibility, but I don’t think you ever see the knife again as that scene went pretty fast. The one thing I do know is they did NOT use the knife in the book which they said they used ;)

Yes, your the most detailed person I've talked to On here ! Nobody can ever say you half ass anything ...me, I'm more a that's good enough fella. I always get a little voice at some point that says to me "that'll do pig " !
I don’t know why I am this way??? Maybe I just want to show everyone what a determined guy can do :)
