We'll let you know via our updates as soon as we are ready to start taking pre-orders and I do believe it will be limited to either 1 or 2 per person. This hasn't yet been confirmed but we'll share more news as soon as we can.

Just an interesting observation. Has anyone noticed that Spock’s tricorder strap in “Arena” is very clearly brown and not black? Don’t get me wrong, black is rightfully the correct choice. I just found it odd that they used a brown strap. I suspect that this was a throw away, burned up version and they didn’t have another black strap handy?

My theory has always been that it's one of the heroes, and the leather dye was fading from use. YMMV.

This was the first episode to use the Midgrade fiberglass tricorders made in house by the Desilu prop shop. They no doubt didn’t have a black strap and used a brown, I’m sure assuming most would never notice.
As the series progressed the straps were all replaced, on Wah’s two originals as well as the fiberglass to the longer, double stitched black straps.

Yes you will. We understand that some fans will want one for display and one to use, or might be buying another one as a gift for someone else. However, we will closely monitor the number purchased by each person so as to make sure there are enough to go around.

I asked what sort of plastic they were using for the body, and he answered it's ABS.
