The Wand Company TOS Tricorder is coming!

Yes, it's the passive-aggressive McCoy tricorder design!! McCoy can now carry a tricorder that is also a weapon, you just throw the Orb-Tricorder at the enemy.
I believe that if you don’t contact them directly to advise of your interest and don’t make weekly requests demanding status (at minimum) for follow-up information, they will consider you to be a disinterested party and will not have a Tricorder made available for you.
Rather than releasing them via vendors, broadly, on a release date that is TBD, It is my wild speculation that they will only manufacture Tricorders on an assigned name basis.
I recommend that everyone with even a casual interest immediately contact them to ensure that they know who you are and that you adopt the weekly inquiry cadence to demand status (again, at minimum) as soon as possible.
I will be on a daily status request cadence, myself.

This Wand iteration is a solid Buy for me to go with the Wand Phaser and Communicator, I already have.

From what I can see on the Wand’s website….. they are trying to incorporate a Edith Keeler flash imaging or vid clip??….I’ve made an example of my own below. That’s not to say what the Wand finished outcome will be like.
My rendition example is just that…an example from the actual episode vid clip…of what perhaps is in the works judging by the limited information on their website.
Perhaps the entire Wand idea to use Edith Keeler was inspired by this Fan’s rendition, YouTube link below, of an Edith Keeler Tricorder done 12 years ago…….who knows?

Having been to Comic-Con last week…….The Wand Company were No Shows physically. You would think they would have still had some sort of presence to push other products from their product line or promote future projects…..
Also from the exhibitors list…..no “The Wand Company”, no “Wand Company”
If they were there…….they were Cloaked….

In addition to TWC foreboding ominous signs of possibly not delivering…. And I truly hope it’s not the case…
They have not updated their Company copyright for 2022 and they have not updated products licensing’s copyrights since 2020 for Star Trek and 2021 for others.

I was talking this week to a friend that was at SDCC representing a LARGE vendor. He said attendance this year was about 30% down including big booths like Warner Brothers, WETA, McFarlane, and others. I wouldn’t read too much into TWC not being there.
I’m going to trust and take TWC at their word when they say they are “working full steam on the Tricorder”. I’m also going to trust the “Register Your Interest” process and am confident I’ll get notified and be given an opportunity to buy one. I received the same certificate everyone else has and get the update emails when they have news.
I’m not sure how licensing works, but I think if a license is issued in 2021 and it’s a 5 or 10 year agreement, I doubt a vendor will update the fine print at the bottom of their website every year. Maybe someone that works in contracting can clarify.

True, vendor attendance was down…McFarlane being one of my fav’s, and not there
As for the copyright year being updated/renewals….. I welcome what a contracts person has to say from experience.
A member here has emailed TWC…for status update…curious to read the response.
The bottom line is, I hope to get the TWC Tricorder before my pulse stops
