Oh lord...hardcore. Ugh. I do miss that aspect of it, but overall...I am avoiding the "Spray and Pray" nature of that particular beast.I team-kill glitchers on my team.
They don't like it.
I like the team members who take your care packages.
I want to reach through the screen and punch them in the face when they lurk around my crates.I like the team members who take your care packages.
I must say in defense....
I have taken a care package before that was another teammates. But because he was killed immediately and I cleaned up. I would rather our team put it to use instead of the other team. I also have had no qualms of letting another team member take mine if I cant get it.
Clutch, is your name on Live like \|clutch|/ or something similar? I played last night and saw that name in a party and literally thought, hmmm i wonder if thats clutch from RPF.
well i started using the carepackage glitch agains the same idiots last night. I can't wait till they put that patch in effect and get rid of it. its gonna be funny to see how awful those players are when they cant cheat.
Now see, the thing I've found, is you just gotta learn the different players.
You have the run and stabbers/dual 1887, You have the noob tubers, you have the sit back and campers, you have the run around like a chicken with head cut off-ers, then you have just all around good players.
For the run and stabbers, double claymores....best you can do really. The only other real remedy for that is the dual 1887.
Noob Tube, do the same, or just make sure to have a devistatingly damaging weapon like a LMG with stopping power. HBAR with stopping power and steady aim with a foregrip is my favorite noob tube stopper.
For the campers, you gotta either camp yourself, or get good at running and tubing. My strategy is if you know where thecamper is sitting, strife back and forth between to points of cover and gauge your 203 distance, and then while he is tryin to center on you, BOOM! nail his A to the floor with a 40mm HE Round. Flashes and Stuns are good too....to get close and flash, stab.
For the ones who just run around, the best bet is take the weapon your best with and pick em off...
And then the good players...just learn from them, watch their kill cams and techniques and mimic them.
Had a rash of that lately.I like the team members who take your care packages.
Yea, but what about team members who see you waiting for your care package, then kill you, and take it?
Hmmm, I'm not sure which category I fall into. I actually describe my own play as "tactical." I'm an okay player but not great, these days in random games I'm in the top half. An average good game for me is around 10 kills to 4 deaths. I know my limits so I don't run and gun a lot or I'd end up with 15 kills and 20 deaths, which is overall a -5 for the team. I'm more concerned with kill/death ratio than total kills.
I describe my play as "tactical" because I go from building to building or tree to tree relatively slowly and with minimal exposure to open areas. I take my time and look around. I also often go off the beaten path from my teammates and tend to look for some sort of tactical advantage, like getting the enemy from behind. I try not to stay in one place for too long. In close range I bring out the shotgun but usually I stick to the M16A4 with FMJ and Scope attachments. I use bling pro, cold blooded and ninja pro as my perks.
Well, I typically only play ground war, so no team kills.
But yeah, that would infuriate me to the core. I would then make it my mission to forgo the game, and make it my new mission to team kill the teammate who killed me for a care package. then I would Dashboard out before the game ended. (For those who are about your Kill/Death like me and don't know...if you hit center X in a game and hit Y to your Xbox Dashboard, your K/D does not get affected, nor do you recieve a loss like you would if you just normally left the game).
well with the new glitch they can see who uses it, and they have the ability to ban them, but they wont because they will lose customers to buy map packs and such. They just fix it. The thing is, even in Halo you find glitches sometimes. spots to get off the map, grenade glitches, etc.
The thing is all games have the glitches....the carepackage glitch was stumbled upon, and then posted on the internet for all to see. Its just a matter of finding them, and then the company fixes em. InfinityWard is good at that. I played with an InfinityWard tester the other night and he told me they were testing the beta patch for the carepackage fix and it was working for them. So it should be implemented soon. So I think IW does a great job with fixing those problems quite well.
