Stranger things

Okay, I ran my enhancement program OVER yours to see what it would do. Not much difference.

In most cases alterations already made to an image/photo is no help for the program. I tried 1st upscaling the image than enhancing it, but the photo is much worst than without the enhancement. in this case, with that low-res image, this is the best we can do so far.

This was a special request by ribeiroorafael and after several weeks of postponing, it is time to post some of Nancy's test cards.
From season 1:

From season 4 (in the Upside Down):
Image341_2.png Nancy's Test Card 2.png
Image340_2.png Nancy's Test Card 3.png
Image343_2.png Nancy's Test Card 4.png
Image339_2.png Nancy's Test Card 5.png
Image337_2.png Nancy's Test Card 6.png
Image335_2.png Nancy's Test Card 7.png

I made these half of a LTR page, more exactly 216 x 140 mm.

These cards have the answers on the reverse side, but because none of them is visible, I won't tackle this.

idk who ask this, but here’s Robin t-shirt image id, needs to find out real t-shirt color now, but this is easy now

Thanks for the great additions to the growing found/identified props collection.

Here's a (I thing) a big post regarding the Mind Flayer drawings (yes, you read it correctly, and yes. it is plural). For some reason I really like the graphical concept of the Mind Flayer and wanted to do as much of the drawings presented in the series. And because UnusualWizardry already posted the 1st drawing made by Will, I will focus on the drawing(s) made by Joyce and another variant made by Will.

Joyce's drawing have at least 3 variants seen on screen, but I did only 2 of them:
Image89.png Joyce's Mind Flayer Drawing 1.png
Image94.png Joyce's Mind Flayer Drawing 2.png

The 1st variant is the one you see right after Joyce draw it on baking paper from the TV screen. This is made as 351 x 230 mm. The 2nd variant is the one where Joyce confronts Will about the Mind Flayer drawing. This is around 397 x 230 mm. To draw these I used a tool called Painterly Brush/Basic Chalk and while the lines you draw are vectorized the effect is in fact image based; while not perfect, it does look better than if there were just some clean lines.

The 3rd variant is the one that Hopper holds while talking to Joyce and Will:
Image103.png
I used parts of this variant to do the missing ones on the other 2 variants.

And now Will's drawing showing the connection between him and the Mind Flayer presented to his friends:
Image178.png Will's Charcoal Mind Flayer Drawing 1.png
Image180.png Will's Charcoal Mind Flayer Drawing 2.png
Image182.png Will's Charcoal Mind Flayer Drawing 3.png

The drawing was drawn by Will with chalk, then wiped the drawing with his right hand and used the hand print on the back of the paper to show the presence of the Mind Flayer.

Everything was made from multiple screencaps patched together, then vectorized to achieve an almost impossible task. The page is a standard LTR or 216 x 279 mm for the metric guys (like myself).

There's also another drawing of the Mind Flayer drawn by young Henry Creel, which I will tackle in the near future:

And some misc. recreations mostly from Season 4:

Flower card from Mike to El:
Image229.png Flower Card From Mike to El.png
Flower card made as 100 x 57 mm in size.

El's short letter to Mike:
Image234.png El's Letter to Mike.png
Made this as standard A4 (297 x 210 mm).

Phone number for the location of the Nina Project:
Image289.png Nina Phone Number v1.png
Image293.png Nina Phone Number v2.png
There are 2 variants of the phone number: 1st variant is from the desert scene (made as 27 x 74 mm) and the 2nd variant is at Suzie's house (made as 25 x 76 mm).

Bob's Ampad writing pad from Season 2:
Image490.png Bob's Ampad Inside.png
Image122.png Bob's Ampad Back.png
(Notice the site on the back of the pad, which is inaccurate for the time period). The riped out pages were standard LTR but the whole pad measures 297 x 216 mm.

Will's Morse code message envelope (also from Season 2):
Image125.png Morse Code Envelope.png Morse Code Envelope 1.png Morse Code Envelope 2.png

Made as 367 x 236 mm when fully open and 225 x 110 mm when closed.

All these above were made from scratch.

Also managed to find the particular font (called Silent Reaction) used on the Tom Cruise poster:

Higher resolution here => Tom Cruise Poster.png.

In order to find the font, I had to do a crude tracing of the writing and run it through most of the font recognition sites:
Writing 24.png

My hope was that they used an already available font and was not hand written. None of the results were satisfying and I almost gave up when the least used site (FontSquirrel) had the perfect answer:

Murray's butterfly map of the world (in Season 2 and 3):

Also from Murray's home (above the MC5 poster, top left corner of the door opening):

Here's the correct Chesapeake Bay map posted by ribeiroorafael in post #210 (here => Stranger things):

The map is part of a PowerPoint file located here ==> Ch 19 ppt.
