Spider-Man: No Way Home

Its original scene actually was just Spiderman and an imposter Spiderman. A criminal is dressed as Spiderman in the midst of a robbery and Spiderman comes in and both calls each other an imposter.

But since multi-verse is a big thing in Spiderman, it became associated with muti-verse alternate spidermen meeting each other.

Watching this movie, its clear to me that Dafoe would make an amazing Joker as well. He also looks the part. Just put on some white make up.

True although Goblin was more bipolar than just plain insane (or super-sane depending on the interpretation).

Although Dafoe really nails it switching between insane Goblin and "sane" Osborn although I wonder if Osbon is ever really sane after the formula.

I don’t think so lol

My hubby and I watched it after buying it on prime. I loved it so much. It was such a bitter-sweet experience. Now I'm -really- sad that poor Andrew got saddled with such crap during his tenure as Spidey. He was lovely. The interplay between the Peters was absolutely delightful.

This made the rounds a year or so ago.

If the spell made people forget, what about all the physical media that was there telling that Peter was Spider-man? It was plastered on every billboard, newspaper, and website.

Never read the comics, so I've no idea if it originated there, but I remember watching the 90s Spider-Man cartoon as a kid, and I recall the split personality manifesting itself similarly in that animated show as well. I particularly recall a scene where Osborn and the Goblin were arguing about whether or not to kill Spider-Man in a bathroom mirror.

I love the switches in personality does and the completely different facial expressions when Dafoe does Goblin.

A friend ruined it a little when mentioning in reality, its just a guy walking toward his mirror doing crazy laughs and faces at himself. Its silly in reality but Dafoe made it work.

I'm having a hard time making it work.
Seems the spell travels in time and is incredibly detailed and selective. LOL
Lol. Not really. The final spell targeted and eliminated knowledge of Peter's secret identity. That's very straightforward and easy. What screwed things up is when peter tried to throw in exceptions instead of just realizing he could always just reveal himself to those people again and thus control who has that info.

I just learned today that when Dafoe was Norman, he wore veneers to cover the natural gap in his teeth, but removed it when he was the Goblin. Something extremely subtle, but a conscious decision to show a difference between the two.
