Hay guys, I've just joined this thread and I have to say cavx you are making a great job of that tube bag, please put my name on the list for one.
Also wondering if your still making clear soles for the mags? I need another set

i never got to see it. I'll ask my friend if he has any define the scenes photos of it.

There is a guy who posts in the various BTTF groups on Face Book claim to own the one and only screen used Tube Bag. Is he real? I asked via PM for a detailed photo and he refused.

And there is a guy on Facebook claiming to own the "one and only" Tube Bag, who wants over $10K for it, and, won't post photos of it. The only photo he ever posts is the same image in the link but with a custom back ground.

Update images coming soon. There has been a major re-think on how I am to make the curved lids and body parts.

The original idea was to make massive two part molds of the aluminium parts I have professionally rolled. There are a couple of problems with this -

1. The amount and cost of the silicone is insane. Going this new route will be more cost effective and give a better end result.

2. The cast parts can only be as good as the master part and there are some deep scratches on the aluminum that won't buff out. By using laser cut perspex as the new master parts, the molds will be perfectly flat and scratch free on the surfaces.

3. The resin (hard plastic when cured) is not exactly 'water thin" so it does not pour very well into deep molds without air-locking (trapping air), but it does self level and pours really well into open wide molds.

4. This resin (hard plastic when cured) is flexible for a few hours after curing, so it can be formed in a jig and left to set in a new shape. The hard version of my V2 buckles used a similar plastic and they were re-shaped to fit me after curing. The rolled parts are perfect to use as a jig here.

5. I still need to build a hot box for post cure as I need 70 degrees C to bring the plastic to it's full D-80 shore hardness.

6. Also looking at embedding magnets into the handles to keep the leds closed when the bag is placed on the ground.

It is and due to licensing, I probably will just supply a flat yellow vinyl decal, This is my prototype, and where I wanted raised lettering except the pigment I bought (which says opaque on the lable) seems to be transparent, so will need to be re-done.
