Make sure when you really bring this thing to market, you post it in the "Junkyard" so we can find it conveniently buried 6 pages back with 20 minutes of posting. Better yet, keep it here.
Hi there...
First of all I want to thank everyone for the patience you've had waiting for us. We are almost there, at the end of this beautiful project.
We've tested our first three aluminium armatures in two semi assembled models, we've tested the molds, the urethane resin we are using and casting methods and I am happy to say that everything is working great.
The resin copies are very strong and easy to sand. Cyanoacrylate glue works incredibly well, pasting resin with resin really strong. We used the Great Planes Cyanoacrylate and works fast and hard.
We have to make some extra molds now for faster production, like more wings, canons and stuff like that and, yes I still haven't sculpted the pilot.
So, images speak better than words so here are the pics of the two first X-Wings we've assembled to test our model:
Seeing that hull built up....wow, its super good, these are going to make some VERY amazing Hero replicas indeed......id even go as far as saying....id WANT to see some Red 5's come out of this lol, and i you wont hear me say that very often.......eh Kevin :lol?
