And as I predicted over in The Acolyte thread, news sites are already blaming the fans for the show now ranking high in the "audience reviews" on RT, already claiming it's "the toxic male fans" causing the number there by "reviewing bombing" (currently at 26% for a second time. The last time it was sitting at 26%, a few of the votes were deleted to raise the number up to 31%). Again, this is why I haven't trusted RT in a while.

Talking, discussing is not an issue. We all have our differences, but name calling, bullying, trashing are rules that are being broken.
Agreed...I really Like this thread. Although, i'm confused as to what egregious sin that has taken place on here to warrant prohibitive discussion, unless it's about pointing out "in a humorous, non angry way" that the Padawan Character doesn't belong and is out of place concerning his weight/shape...which somehow it's acceptable to laugh at a movie like Kung-fu Panda, that makes light and plays off of that very trope, but to point out the clear fact that someone doesn't fit a well established "mold" is "over the line" is quite missing the point. However, i do believe that the point has been made and we all know that they will continue to "break the mold" of Star Wars, if just to keep fans bickering back and forth about stuff we just don't really care about anymore anyways. Ignoring the Acolyte is simply what it deserves. By no means am i in favor of prohibitive discussion just because someone may not like it but i also think we can discuss a "character" and their relevance without having to worry about the"actor" taking personal offense. I think we'd be having the exact same discussion on here if they somehow introduced an anorexic relative of Jabba the Hutt...It's just out of place. If we ever saw a Hippo in a Cheetah's body we'd be laughing our heads off...lol...anyways. But i'm confident if that did take place we'd have a "March on Washington" by the offended party that suffers from anorexia.
