Interest KRULL - "The GLAIVE"!!! Metal-casting KIT!!!

UPDATE:

Sorry for the delay! I fell ill last week and it knocked me out for most of the week...

I'm starting on the Glaives today and should have these finished by the end of this week!

So, have your final payments ready! It will be $250 plus shipping! Higher price due to high shipping from China. These were heavier than I had anticipated, which increased the cost by quite a bit...

UPDATE:

So, just to let you guys know...

The good news, is the factory made the blade inserts extra deep, and the blades a little longer, so they sit into the Glaive deeper and a lot stronger!

(y)

The bad news, is that when they chrome plated these, the ends were attached to something during the plating process, which left some thick white stuff on the ends of the blades and made them a little thicker. This makes them extra difficult to insert into the Glaive.

So, just so you guys know, I'll be making sure all the blades fit in the Glaive really good before they ship!

I'll be shaving the white stuff off of the ends, so the blades fit easily into the Glaive. Once they are inserted, you don't see the shaved ends.
If the exposed bronze worries you, then a little silver paint or Rub'n'buff hides it just fine.

Hmm. So the blades are gold chrome? Is that just the lighting?
Here's a surviving prop that Adam Savage recently took a look at.

Everything is chrome, until you finish it!

The Screen-Capture below shows the Glaive attached to Colwyn's side...

You can see where the only gold is on the 'Rune' areas of the Glaive, and everything else is either silver or white! ;)

Ok - gotcha. Boy, some odd lighting then. Maybe a pic outside in the sunlight would help. Everything looks so gold colored - even the blades.

Really? Looks silver to me, but I'm used to seeing the gold on the Idols...

Chrome is going to pick up whatever the ambient color is. So if warm lights are on it, then the chrome is going to take on a warm appearance and look more gold-ish. I color corrected the white balance of one of the images, so this should be a bit more accurate to what you can expect... (I hope that's ok with you, RelicMaker!)
