I've released my Ark of the Covenant 3d Files

Mine is not glued yet. Still waiting on Amazon to deliver the wood glue and corner strap clamps. So that is just Earths gravity at work there. The correct alignment is flush with the face.
So the lumber sits inside with the prints-correct???

So without discouragement --please I hope no one gets upset--

Who is correct with the lumber placement?
I see one that has it above the prints and one that is even with the prints
For the Lid I put mine on the inside. The panels already have enough top lip I thought. I didn't want to add another 3/4 on top of the lid.

I just went off of rebelscums original plans I think. When he made this all out of wood. Mine has so many defects for a first attempt im not sure I care if everything is 100% accurate. Lol

IDK, Ply wood has grain no matter what quality. The MDF is smooth and apart from Ikea furniture grade, Home Depot and Lowes offer higher quality. It all comes down to personal preference and budget.

Yes, I'm going to use MDF to avoid the grain. Finishing grainy wood is not easy to do.

What's your guy's plans on those rings? I've been following this thread, but don't remember anybody talking about beefing those up (unless I missed it).

I printed them 100% infill. I think ill either got straight into the wood with a threaded rod, or put the rod into the leg middle section and fill it with plaster to add strength
