Uh oh, did you get the spidery patterns and tiny creases appearing?And I just found out what happens when you put new spray paint over not dry spray paint. ugh

So I have had these for a while. They don’t have a base and I’m not sure how long or tall the set is from the files are. I’m going to use these as test pieces to start playing around with the gold finish . I think I’ve read that the wings are almost 17 inches long and these are about 15 including body.
As far as printing goes, I've finished 3 out of 4 top leaf corners and printing a corner rail now. I don't like running the printer when I'm not home so I'm being cryptic on keeping the prints moving along, even if I have to go out of order. I also bought 4 more rolls of PLA that just arrived. I should be able to print all 4 rail corners by Friday and then the 4th top leaf corner on Saturday. Meanwhile I will start finishing these Cherub's.

Is it gold ?
That video assumes you have chromed your parts. The problem with paint based chrome is the clear coats tend to dull the mirror finish. The best method is gold leaf. Not the fake stuff either. And you are talking about thousands in gold leaf.
